Chapter 1. THE DAY IT ALL WENT DOWN.

" Mom I gotta go , make sure you take your medicine and the tea in the flask , I'll come over after some hours . Do not miss to take your medicine again, please . "

" Okay , I wont , I told you already I'll never make you worry about me again , have a good day honey. " she says sitting up on the bed , I help her sit up and peck her cheek as I run to work because if I stay one more minute am gonna be late and probably lose my job.

Am glad my mom is getting better and better each day, which makes me have hope and work even harder to buy her medicines.

There was a day that I thought I would loose her , Which made me hate my dad even more . When he left I was two yers and since then my mom had never given herself a break because she wanted to give me a better life . She wanted me to see that even if my dad left , I still have someone who cares about me .

Due to much working and the unbearable stress of her love who decided to leave, she really become sick to the extent of not being able to do anything anymore.

I can't imagine how it feels when someone you cherish and gave your heart just decides to leave , and as if that isn't enough, he marries your step sister and again as if that wasn't enough they did alot of tricks that they ended up making all my mom's inheritance from her late father and also the ones she struggled to get on her own , theirs .
Actually all that was possible with the help of my mom's step mother .

Aunty Rozzet had always died to have my dad because he was rich and has everything that a woman would want in a man , and when my mom met such a man,  Aunty Rozzet was so jealous of my mom , she tried her best to make dad hers , finally she succeeded and we were thrown out!

Atleast that's what my mom told me , I've never met all those people who did that to her but am gonna revenge one day! For her .

Since then we have always struggled with life , especially my mom , sickness and I had to stop her from working. I Assured her that I'll take care of her instead, after all I was 15 years old at that time and now I just turned 20years old . How years pass by so fast!

Am actually worried because am 20 but I still do not have a clear future .

"Hey man.. Something for me today??" I ask Jack , the guy who I work for mostly ; cleaning around his shop or carrying sacks of sugar from the lorries, and many other work he would have for me .

Actually when I said I was running late for work, it didn't mean I have a fixed job , I never know which work I'll do when the morning comes , I could do a hundred different jobs for different people  in  a  day .

" Today am set , maybe tomorrow, I have ordered many things , so you might be lucky if you come early tomorrow and do your usual ." He says going back to his work.

I wish I could find just one steady job for myself but it's damn hard to get a job in this town !

I roam around as usual to find something to do so that I can atleast have something for my mom to eat at lunch hour , Normally I never remember about myself unless she makes me remember that am supposed to eat too .

I don't know why today it's so hard to find anything to do! I wonder as I walk a few kilometres out of town since there's literally nothing am doing here.

I walk passed one dark expensive car standing by the road , the tire seems to have no pressure. Am so desperate so I decide to help myself .

I've worked with mechanics several times , actually that's where I worked most and even learnt how to drive because Peter , a friend of mine and a neighbour too works at a garage , for him it's his job, something like a profession.
