"How the heck did you get it to rotate?" Marina asked looking at the rotating replica of the solar system that was made to depict the meteor that killed off the dinosaurs. It seemed a little too elaborate for Marina's liking.
They had arrived early so that Christopher could set up his project. Eddie had gone off to take a call. AJ and Buck wandered off to the table that was being filled with snacks, and Genevive was on her way with her nephew. Marina had stayed with Christopher to help him set up his booth.
"That's our secret." Mr. Hart said walking up to them.
"Right, it's our secret Nina," Chris said mockingly with a mischievous grin on his face.
"You're keeping secrets?" She said flabbergasted at Chris. "I think you're a bad influence, Mr. Hart." She crossed her arms changing her gaze towards the teacher.
Chris laughed, "I'm still not going to tell you."
She gave him her best-exaggerated puppy eyes. But Chris shook his head no. Marina finally admitted defeat. It seemed like the Diaz boys only fell for Bucks's puppy eyes. Then again she couldn't blame them because she has always given in to Buck too easily. She was just as weak as them.
Christophers' teacher laughed "By the way you can call me Sebastian no need to call me Mr. Hart, that's for the students."
"Okay I'll call you Sebastian, but I won't lie it feels a bit weird." She joked.
Sebastian chuckled, "I hope it starts to get less weird the more we interact." He gave her what she thought was a suggestive smile. Although she wasn't too sure, it had been a while since she had any form of male interaction that didn't involve her work colleagues.
She didn't have time to dwell on those thoughts because Eddie had come to stand next to her. He stood close enough to have their arms rub against each other with the slightest movement. His eyes were trained on Sebastian. Marina cleared her throat as soon as she felt an odd tension start to build up.
Sebastian was the first to speak. "You must be Christoper's dad, I'm Sebastian Hart his science teacher." He extended his hand out to him with a smile that didn't reach his eyes.
Eddie eyed the outreached hand and proceeded to shake it with a tight grip. "Eddie Diaz, nice to meet you." He said and proceeded to give him a tight smile.
"Christopher!" A familiar nasally voice called out, and Marina let out a deep breath, internally grateful for her impeccable timing.
Marina turns around to see Genevieve in a bright red pantsuit, her blonde hair curled as usual and her red lipstick as bright as ever. Next to her was a young and handsome man he was tall, with lean muscle. His hair was brown and curly. Marina noted how he had pretty green eyes.
"Theodore, these are my friends. Marina, Eddie, and Christopher. Guys this is my nephew Theodore Morelove." She said pointing at everyone.
They all proceed to greet each other. "You can call me Theo."
