Kipo and the world beyond

Down goes the flock

The group scatters among the facility looking around for anything they could find that might help them achieve their goal. Song and Leo are in the Laboratory quickly dismantling parts and other things that could possibly help connect the tower for their project. "Hey song" Leo suddenly spoke. "After all this is over and... we take them all down, what do you think might happen, I mean everyone will be safe but what then? Rook will be alone again and Kipo will have to say goodbye to him." Song took a deep breath. "It's his decision Leo, we have no say in his choices, if this is what he wants then who are we to stop him, we can't force him to come with us and Kipo has accepted that. It's just a part of life, but you have to remember, imagine how Rook feels about all this, it's like we're killing his brothers, his family, Ford's creations, it's got to be much more harder on him than it is for us and we... All we can do is support him, that's what ford would have wanted." Leo puts a hand on her shoulder. "then that's what we'll do, we'll get through this together." Song holds his hand. "I love you." Leo smiles. "I love you too."

Off to the other groups Benson and Molly are all together also collecting parts for what they possibly could need, although having no idea what they're looking for they're just piling a bunch of scrap metal together and saying yeah good idea. so Molly. Benson suddenly started a conversation. "I'd love to hear more about this old mate of yours, if that's okay." Molly looks at him and with a slight smile she sighs. "He wasn't that much different from other Timber cats, he swung an ax, he played a banjo, had a horrible singing voice, coughed up hairballs, the gist, but that was okay, he made me feel special like no other temper cat could ever make me feel. He may be gone now but that's okay, because his memory still lives on, as long as you remember them they're never truly gone. He would be very angry at me if he caught me moping around that he isn't here anymore. So sure I miss him but I'm not going to go around talking about it if it's a big tragedy, to me it was, but we lose people, people we love, it wouldn't be life if we didn't." Benson has immense sympathy in his eyes, and doesn't hesitate to hug her, Molly isn't too surprised knowing Benson so she hugs back.

The last of the group rook and wolf. Wolf looks over at Rook as he is just sort of playing with a spring. "You know Rook, despite everything that we've been through together, you're a really okay guy, and Kipo was lucky to have met you." Rook looks surprised that wolf said that. "Yeah well you didn't really make that impression when we first met, running at me with a hooked and rope." wolf chuckled awkwardly. "yeah... I'm not used to meeting a lot of friendly people outside of home." Rook chuckled. "I understand the feeling, you know if I ever had siblings and one of them was a girl, I'd be very happy if they were like you." wolf tilts her head. "Thanks I guess." Rook shakes his head. "no I mean, I would want them to be like you, Brave, strong and wise, at least I think you're wise, though I haven't really heard you give much advice or any advice for that matter." wolf gives him a blank look but inevitably they both laugh it off. "You know I think I'm actually going to miss you, I think we would have been great sparring Buddies." "I do love a good sparring match. i wish we could have had one." With that their friendship was official.

Eventually the whole gang regrouped back into the lab with a very angry looking Kipo opening some metal bars and a very stressed looked Amelia typing away at a computer. "Did we miss something?" song asked. Kipo gave a quick growl "No.. nothing at all mother." she glares over at Amelia who flinches and starts typing faster. Song shakes her head disapprovingly and everyone drops off the pieces they collected immediately. Both Song and Leo got to work putting together the emitter. "all right everyone start connecting these cables all of you." Leo said quickly. "So what's the plan?" Benson said. "Dave and the rest of us will keep the harbingers distracted, song and Emilia will go up and attach these cables to the Tower. Kipo we need you to go and disconnect the power cables from the main grid, that will trick the main frame into thinking the place Is running out of power which will cause the tower to reactivate causing the gigantic lightning bolt. Once that happens, song and Amelia will have connected to the cable and get and get it to the emitter once that happens, BOOM the The Harbingers life support systems will immediately be fried. ending all of this." Everyone nods an agreement for this plan. It seems perfect but Rook doesn't seem very fond of this plan. Despite Kipo still being in our Apex form She knows that this is a lot for him so she pulls him into a hug almost saying it's going to be okay. He hugs back.
