Two days later.....

Arcade 📍

Justin invited Imani on a date. Imani has been hanging out with Justin a lot more lately since Jayden's passing. Marcus sees Imani strictly as friends; he doesn't want to hurt Justin.

Imani and Justin started to become competitive when they played every single game in the arcade.

"Now, this game's done." Justin said as they walked up to the basketball section.

"Boy please, I never lose over no basketball game boo." Imani scoffed as she waved off playfully.

"Okay, we will see about that." Justin laughed as he grabbed his game card out and taped it. "Are you sure? I don't want to see you cry." Imani chuckled as she tapped her card.

He smacked his teeth as he looked at her with a straight face. "Come on."

The timer started at two minutes. They start shooting balls after balls. Imani was about five balls behind as Justin kept going.

"Aww, look who is behind." Justin said sarcastically as Imani stayed focused trying to catch up.

With fifty seconds remaining, Imani finally caught up as Justin started to lose focus. "Ahh, shit!" Justin smacked his teeth as he started panicking.

Justin blocked Imani's eyes with her hand as he threw the ball with her other hand.

"Justin, stop cheating!" Imani laughed and she did the same. They continually shuffled around each other.

The timer has ended and Imani has the highest points.

"Period, I got 31 points baby!" Imani smiles as she claps her hands.

"Okay, you won for now." Justin hung up his hands.

"Aww, you tryna not cry." Imani said sarcastically. "Who do you think I look like crying over a game?" He scoffed.

"To the boy who was being dramatic at every game we played." She pointed. "Okay, okay, you got it." He chuckled as he grabbed her hand.

As it gets closer to midnight they decide to call it a night. They walked and talked as they exited the arcade.

Justin held hands with Imani as they walked to the car. Justin opens the door on the passenger side.

"Thank you." Imani smiles as she hops in the car. "You are welcome." He closed the door and walked over to the driver's side.

Justin got inside and put his seatbelt on as he started the engine. He exited the parking lot and drove into the roads to take Imani home.

"I had so much fun with you." She said. "Me too, I loved having fun with you. You bring great vibes and enthusiasm." He smiled.

"Aww, thank you and thanks to my personality I created." She nodded as she smiled. "How do you feel about us taking things slow?" He asked as he kept his eyes on the road.

"Great, I'm glad we are taking it slow. It feels better for us." She said.

"Ahh, now I can finally breathe. I was scared you ain't gonna like me for being so slow with you." He said feeling relieved.

"I'm that type of person to tell you straight up if I'm not fucking you with you like that." She said. "Okay, thanks for being on the same page with me." He smirked as he licked his lips.
