This Love

Chapter 20

As I woke up, Colten was sleeping still. I smiled at his cuteness. I needed more water, so I tried getting up.

"Babe," Colten whispered, holding me tight. He startled me. "What do you need?" "Water. But I'll get it. I'm fine" I said. "No. I'll get it stay here" Colten said. "NO! My ankle is just sprained! I'm not dying! I can get it!" I kind of yelled. "I-I'm sorry. Girl hormones" I said going to kiss him. "It's fine" he said. "Just let me get it" Colten said with a smile. I had to let him get it now. It's our rule of girly hormones.

As Colten came back with water, he tripped over my bag and fell on his face. I started laughing as he started laughing. "That wasn't meant to be funny" he said laughing. "Oh, but it was!" I said. Then Carol walked into the room.

"Alright loves birds. Lets get down to business!" Carol said. "About what?" We both ask. "Your relationship" she said with a wink. "Okay. So...I have decided that you two, need to get your own house. With a baby on the way and getting married, I think it's best for you two" she said happily. I froze and so did Colten, but eventually, smiles grew. "SERIOUSLY!!" I yelled like the girl I am. "Yes. I will pay to buy it, you just have to find the perfect house for you two!" She said. Kaelee came running downstairs.

"WHAT'S HAPPENING?!" She yelled. "COLTEN AND I ARE GETTING OUR OWN HOUSE!!" I yelled back. "EEEEEK!!!" We both screamed. "Calm down girls" Colten said and laughed. "Can I help you look for houses?" Kaelee asked me. I looked at Colten for approval. He nodded. "Sure" I said to Kaelee. "Thank you so much!! When can we go?" Kaelee asked. "How about tomorrow?" I said. "Uh- babe...don't you think we should wait until you feel better?" Colten asked. "I'll be fine. I can take my crutches, probably won't even need 'em" I said and smiled. "Okay..." He said.

"Alright. That's settled. Tomorrow, you all can go and look at houses. Have funnnn!" Carol said smiling. I was still laying on the couch and Colten came back over and laid down. Kaelee went back up to her room and Carol went upstairs. It was 9:00 pm and I was really tired. I close my eyes and fell asleep.

*Morning*

As I woke up, it was 8:30 and Colten was making pancakes and bacon.

"Morning princess" he said and smiled. "Morning prince" I said and smiled back. "Bacon and pancakes smell good" I smirked. "That's because they are. Duh, I'm making them" he said and we both laughed. "Colten.... TODAY'S THE DAY TO FIND A HOUSE!" I screamed happily. "Babe, if we don't find anything good, id be totally fine with living in your old house. And I understand if you don't want to do that" he said. I stood up and walked into the kitchen.

"I'd love to live there if we don't find any other place" I said and kissed his cheek. "Good. What time do you want to leave to go house hunting?" He asked me. "9:30- 10:00 sounds good for me" I said as he flipped a pancake. "Okay. Kaelee is already awake and ready, so we are just waiting on you" Colten said. I looked around and no one else was downstairs.

"Okay. I'm not going to take a shower if you don't mind..." I said. "Not at all, my love" he said and pecked my lips.

I sat down at the table and waited for breakfast to be done.

A few minutes later, Colten served breakfast to Kaelee, Carol and I.

"What time are we leaving?" Kaelee asked Colten and I. "About 9:30 10:00" Colten told Kaelee. "Alright" she said and stood up. We put her plate in the sinks mad walked upstairs.

"I'll go get ready" I said and put my plate in the sink. I ran upstairs to my room.

I got dressed and did my make up and hair. When I finished, I walked downstairs and Kaelee and Colten were ready.

"Let's roll" Colten said then grabs his keys and phone.

We got out to Colten's car and I got in front, Colten was driving and Kaelee was in the back. Colten started the car and we drove around town.

"Hey, there's a whole new street with new houses on it. We should go check it out" Kaelee said. We drove to that subdivision and looked in some houses.

"This house is perfect" Colten said to the girl showing us a house.

"Would you like to buy it?" The girl, Meghan, asked us. "Sure!" Kaelee, Colten and I said at once.

We paid for the house and headed home.
