This Love

Chapter 11

Riley's POV
I woke up and thought it all was a dream. But when I saw I wasn't in my room, I realized it wasn't. I groaned loudly and I heard feet running towards my room. Colten came running in my room.

"WHAT'S WRONG? Are you hurt?!?!" He asked being jumpy. "Colten, I'm fine" I said and smiled. "Oh. Sorry" he said and sighed. He came and sat on the end of my bed.

"So what are we doing today?" He asked me all happy. "Want to get a bunch of our friends and have a small party here? Your parents are gone anyway. Just have a little pool party?" I suggested.

"Okay. But not too many people" Colten said to me. I grabbed my phone off of the table next to my bed. I texted my friend Layla, Hannah, Kayla, and Sarah. Kaelee, them and I were a big group of girls who hung out a lot. Then Colten got his phone out and texted his friends. All my friends had boyfriends that were friends with Colten so Colten was probably going to invite the boys.

I got a few texts back right away. 15 minutes after I sent the text everyone had said they could come. Colten, Kaelee, Dylan and I set up some food and stuff for the party. An hour later everyone showed up and we all went in the pool. Layla, Hannah, Kayla and Sarah came and so did their boyfriends. Max, Damon, Kyle, and Shawn.

The couples were Shawn and Hannah, Layla and Damon, Kayla and Max and Sarah and Kyle. We were all out in the pool playing Marco Polo. I was the caller and everyone else had to answer.

"MARCO!!" I yelled and I heard laughs. "POLO!" Everyone said. I swam towards a voice that sounded like Colten.

"MARCO!!!" I yelled even louder. "POLO!!!!!" They yelled back. This time I got someone. I opened my eyes to see Kaelee.

"Gotcha" I said and laughed. "Whatever.." Kaelee said and went to the middle of the pool. Colten and I got out of the pool and dried off a little. We sat on the chairs and ate food.

"This is fun. I love hanging out with you" I said to Colten. "Yeah. I love hanging out with you too. I'm glad you're living with us" Colten said with a smile. "Me too" I said and half smiled. Colten knew I was dying inside. He knew I was in pain but he didn't want to treat me as if I was in pain.

"Colten, I know that you know I'm in pain. But I'll get over it all. I'm fine. I don't want my life to bother yours" I said to Colten. "And I don't want anything to ruin your life. You are 'bothering' my life. Not in a million years. Yeah, your life is affecting mine, but in a good way" Colten said and smiled. "But Colten, I'm not like any other girl. I break hearts whether I want to or not. I don't WANT to break your heart." "Riley, It would be an honor to have my heart broken by you" Colten said quoting my favorite, The Fault In Our Stars. I smiled at him.

"I cannot tell you how thankful I am for our little infinity" I said and smiled. "So what, you might break my heart. But Riley, I love you. Even if you think your a bomb like Hazel Grace, I will still love you. I will love you until you learn to love yourself" Colten said and now I was crying. I was whipping my tears from falling too far.

"Colten, I love you too" I said to him. I've never told him I loved him and he never told me he loved me. I went and smashed my lips to his.

"There is a collection of numbers between 0 and 1..." I said when I backed away. I rested my forehead on his and smiled. We heard claps coming from the pool and we looked at everyone clapping at us. I whipped the tears one last time and stood up.

"Now lets go live our life" I said with a huge smile. I ran inside and grabbed the balloons that they had in their drawers. I took them outside and started blowing them up. One by one I put them in the pool.

"You only live once Stud" I said and kissed Colten. He laughed and lifted me up. He jumped in the pool with me still in his arms. When we resurfaced, I kept laughing. Everyone was laughing and having fun and it was great.

"Stud, I can't even get over the fact that you're my boyfriend. I can't believe I can call you mine" I said and couldn't stop smiling. "I can't even put it into words how much I'm glad to have you" Colten said and he smiled back.

We swam in the pool for a while them we all went inside to order pizza. Everyone was sitting on the couches or the floor and on their phone.

"Hey Colten," Max said. "What time will your parents be home?" "They aren't coming back until tomorrow morning why?" Colten answered. "Just...ummm... Wondering" max said and smirked at Kayla. I saw Colten roll his eyes and I laughed a little.

"Max," Colten said with a smile. "What time do your parents get home?" He asked and I blushed a little. If he was going to take me there I would freak out.

"Midnight. They are at some sort of concert" Max said with a wink. I was friends with everyone in the house right now. We were like that big group everyone thinks is 'popular'. The boys mess with the girls but still love all of them as sisters. The girls mess with the boys but love them as brothers. We're like a big family I guess.

"Who wants to play spin the bottle?!" Damon asked with a huge smile on his face.

"Me!" Everyone practically yelled. Colten went and grabbed a bottle and brought it in the living room. Damon spun it first. It landed right on me. I looked at the bottle, then up at Damon.

"If you say so" I said and leaned over to Damon. He smiled and placed his lips on mine. When we backed away he but his lip and everyone laughed.

"My turn" I said and smiled. I spun the bottle and it spun for a while. It spun, and spun, and spun. It finally landed on....
