"So what did you get from Wooyoung and Yeosang?"

Seonghwa asked this when Yunho and Mingi sought advice from him. They were confident that Seonghwa would provide the best insights, which is why they approached him last.

"Wooyoung said something like... marriage doesn’t bring instant happiness because we have to do something first to reap it. If you just want to be happy, you’ll end up disappointed," Yunho interpreted Wooyoung’s verbose explanation as best as he could remember, "But in the end, he discussed issues of sexuality."

Seonghwa nodded in understanding.

"Yeosang talked about ego, comfort, and so on, and... well, that’s it? And in the end, it was all about love and romance," Mingi added.

"Ah, yes, that's right. Speaking of ego, it reminds me of something. You should remember this too."

Yunho and Mingi paid close attention to the explanation they were about to hear from Seonghwa, mentally preparing to take notes.

"In marriage, you have to forgive when you’re hurt, serve when you’re tired, show affection when you’re actually angry, and listen when you’re really tired. Marriage is about giving and sacrificing. Wooyoung is right that if your goal in marriage is to make yourself happy, you will definitely be disappointed. But when you are willing to sacrifice, you will reap true love and a meaningful relationship."

"Marriage teaches you more about selflessness than you ever wanted to know," said Hongjoong, who had somehow been there with them all along. None of the three had sensed his presence. It was as if he was some kind of phantom. "For that's why I believe I'll be ready to marry you as soon as we graduate."

The three demigods looked at Hongjoong in disbelief.

"Because I know I could press my ego for you and put you first over everything."

"Hongjoong..."

Yunho and Mingi, for some reason, enjoyed the dramatic scene between the two seniors before them.

And what was even more surprising was,

when Hongjoong kissed the top of Seonghwa’s head, showing his affection. It was not just a kiss on the neck and chest based on physical desire, as they had done as friends with benefits. In that kiss, there was a feeling deeper than mere passion for experiencing and enjoying each other’s bodies.

"We’ve received advice from Seonghwa hyung. Let’s go," Mingi whispered.

"You’re right. We shouldn’t ruin their romantic moment."

With that, they returned to their room.

Mingi continued working on his report at the study desk, while Yunho lay on his bed, just resting. Feeling bored and sleepy, he eventually went to sleep first.

It felt strange for Yunho to be in his room during the day.

He couldn’t wait for tomorrow to return to normal activities.
