I know you don't like me,
like me the way I love you.
But, honey, to you I plea,
just look at me once the way I look at you.
I love your smile.
You love her smile.
I find way to talk to you.
You find ways to steal glances from her.
Jealousy is all I feel,
but for your happiness I'd turn my heart to steel.
I'd move stars to see you smiling,
I'd even make the skies perform.
But if only she can get her place in your writing,
who am I to cause the harm?
I love you, darling,
so I'll leave quietly.
Crush the little sapling,
of my love for you that grew without granting.
I'll do it all for you.
But may I spend a minute atleast,
As the girl you would leave the whole world for?
