My glittering eyes follow your movements,
as you fly through my dark skies.
You are the shadow I always chase,
but I never reach, just a dream I live by.Your love is a language,
I was never taught.
Yet I memorize it's meaning,
in the corner of my bleeding heart.I use my smile as my armor,
but everyday it cracks,
the pieces falling into places,
where your name will forever shine. The hidden recital of my love for you,
will forever lay quiet in my heart.
It maybe crumble and rust away,
but it might never retire.Still, I would bury my words,
filter my face to hide my hurt.
I'll watch you gleam with the one you love,
as I walk behind you,
collecting the shards of me,
the broken pieces of me,
that you'll never find.
