I saw you admiring her smile,
and felt my heart burn and die.
I won't hurt your heart too,
so I'll just tie on a blindfold for you.
I heard you laugh genuinely with her,
and found my mind plotting to destroy it.
I won't turn into a villain to you,
so I'll just shut my ears tight too.
For I'll love you through my pain,
bear the stress of this unending strain.
I'll keep you safe from my jealousy and fury,
and bury down deeper, my silenced screams.
