Chapter 26

We were on our way  back to Tom's and Bill's place. Tom was driving and I sat in the passenger seat.
I didn't felt like talking so I just stared out the window. We listen to some music and the others seemed to enjoy this car ride but I sure didn't.

I was lost. I don't know what to do now. I don't know whether I should trust Liam or Tom.
Tom almost hit me last night. Loren told me to stay away from him, but I don't know if it was because she was on Kiroshi's side or because Tom was actually dangerous and could easily hurt me.
Tom explained to me that Loren wasn't working for Kiroshi voluntary, and I could easily understand that. I know Loren, she wouldn't put her live in danger if she would had some other choice.

When we got back to their house I spotted Kate sitting on the sofa.
She saw Georg and jumped off the sofa and ran to him. "Babe? You're ok? What happened?" She said worrying.

"I'm fine. I got into a fight and it was 2 against four. One of them had a knife and fucked up my arm" Georg said giving Kate a small hug.

"Who were you with?" Kate asked.

"Noah" Georg replied.

"Is Noah hurt?" Kate asked again.

"Yea, a little but we managed to get out" Georg said.

"What the fuck happened, I thought we were chill with those guys" Gustav said crossing his arms.

"Somebody baud them or something like that, I don't know. We showed up to pick up the guns as usual and they attacked us. We didn't get the chance to get the guns, we had to save ourselves" Georg said looking down.

"No, it's fine. We can go there today and figure out what happened.
Angelina, did Liam tell you where and when he will be hosting that party?" Tom asked me.

"No, he said he will text me. I'm guessing it'll be on the weekend" I said.

"Ok, so we got a couple days until then. Georg you will stay home tonight. Could we leave by 21:30?" Tom asked looking over at Bill.

"No I'm all good I can join you" Georg stated.

"You sure?" Gustav asked.

"Positive" Georg answered confidently.

"No you will stay here, it's okay" Tom repeated.

"I think so, let me call Noah and the others" Bill answered Tom's question.

Georg and Kate walked to their room and Bill went outside to make the phone call.
I turned to Tom wondering what I should do now.

"Go to my room" Tom said to me. Then he walked over to Gustav and they both left outdoors talking German.

There was no point in running away here. I thought to myself. They still had a couple guards who wandered around their house. if I wanted to get out of here- I needed Tom to trust me again. 

I went to Toms room and took a long shower. It was one of those refreshing showers and it felt good. It calmed down my thoughts from overthinking.
After the shower I changed into a denim skirt and a top, and then went a little through his stuff. I didn't find anything interesting and got bored so I stared playing the guitar.

After some time passed, Tom came to his room and sat down on the bed beside me.

"We will leave soon, you will stay with Kate and Georg. Don't do anything stupid ok? I mean it. I have to go, otherwise I would have stayed with you" he said.

"Ok" I said emotionless.

He left the room and I continued to play the guitar.

I heard Tom's and the other's cars speed outside, which meant they left. I decided to go down and see what Georg and Kate were doing, and grab myself a snack while I'm there.

I walked to the kitchen and saw them sitting on the barstools. I saw donuts on the counter and looked quickly up at Kate. She knew I wanted one so she nodded and smiled. I love how girls understand other girls just by eye contact.

I sat down on a barstool that stood in front of them and took out a donut from the box. "What are y'all talking about?" I said starting a conversation.

"I was talking to Georg about this club that I've been dying to go to for a while now, but we never had time. So I asked him if we could go tonight, just the three of us" Kate said smiling and taking a bite of her donut.

"And what did Georg answer?" I said looking over at him.

"I don't know, I don't think Tom would be happy if he found out" Georg said. He was right, Tom would probably not be happy. But it was so boring staying here. The house felt empty without Tom, Bill and Gustav. I didn't knew Gustav that well but I often saw him wander around the house.

"Please, we won't be there for too long. Come on, you love to party. I will watch out for Loren and you will watch out for me. Everything will be ok" Kate begged. I liked Kate, she was cute. But I don't understand how she could be so calm when she knew she lived with criminals.

"...Fine" Georg finally answered.

"Yay!" Kate jumped. "How fast can you get ready?" She added.

"40 minutes max" I said full of excitement.

"Let's go then, we can get ready together" Kate suggested.
