Chapter 35

-Angelina-

"Hi, Angelina. So nice to see you" Liam said giving me a kiss on the cheek. He was wearing an all black suit.

"Hi, you too" I said. I'm guessing we arrived at his penthouse. It was big, with a great view.

"Come, I would like you to meet a few people" Liam said grabbing my hand and leading me inside.

"Yeah, um, is Loren here?" I shyly asked.

"No, but I think she will be here soon. I think she'll arrive together with Kiroshi." Liam said.

"Oh... ok" I said smiling to him.

Maybe an hour has passed and I still haven't seen Loren. I got introduced to many people, and I recognized a few of them from the club. But now, all of them looked much more professional and dressed up. And there was also a few more elderly guys, that wore very expensive looking suits.

We sat down at a sofa, drinking martinis. Liam was talking with a few friends of his and I was just sitting there. "I would like to use the restroom" I said quietly, leaning closer to Liam.

"Yeah, of course. The restroom is down this hallway" Liam said brushing his fingers through my dress as I got up.

I walked to the bathroom looking at every single person that I walked past making sure i wasn't going to walk past Loren. 
But I didn't, I started to lose hope to see her here.

But when I walked to the bathroom, I saw her standing there. Yes Loren.
She was drying her eyes with a piece of paper. It looked like she's been crying.

"Loren!" I yelled covering my mouth. I ran to her as fast as i could in my high heels and gave her an humongous hug.

"Angelina?! Omg" she said pulling me in closer.

"What the fuck, what are you doing here?" She said pulling away but still holding my arms.

"I came here to find you. Why haven't you told me about any of this before?" I said looking at her and felt tears forming in my eyes.

"I didn't want to get you into this mess, how the fuck did you know where to find me?" Loren said looking around in the bathroom and made sure that we were alone in here.

"Tom- he offered me to help him find Kiroshi and with that he said I'll find you. It's a long story but omg I'm so happy you're ok. Now what the fuck happened to you?! I thought you were dead for a moment. I tried calling you so many times" I said running out of breath.

"Tom?! No, no, no. You need to stay away from him. First of all, do you know what would happen to you if Kiroshi found out that you're helping that psycho?" Loren said looking at me surprised and almost angry.

"Tom? But, he legit helped me find you. I wouldn't have done it without him" I said wondering why she was so specific about him being that bad. Of course, he has killed many people but he also helped me find Loren.

"He's using you, Angelina. The night the shooting happened, at the club- Kiroshi had locked me up in a room. He got mad at be because of some business issues and he hit me across the face..." Loren said running out of breath.
"And then he left. I escaped through a window as soon as I heard the shots. I wanted to find you but I couldn't run back to the club because of the guys that were shooting and because Kiroshi would have shot me himself, for running away. I tried to find you among the people that ran out but I couldn't. I was walking this uh- aisle, and a car pulled over in front of me. Some one dragged me in and I quickly realized it was Bill. Then Tom grabbed me..." she said tearing up.
"He grabbed me by my hair and said *if you tell anyone about this, I will kill you and your friend, you understand?* I nodded and then he took my phone, and then he said *Tell us literally anything about Kiroshi or Liam or you'll die*, and then I told them that Liam will host a large party. Then they asked me where and when it will be, and who was gonna be there I didn't answer him. Because I knew i could get killed for it. So he slapped my and..." Loren sighed, trying to hold back her tears.
I could se she was almost getting panic attack by the way her hands started shaking.

"It's ok Loren, here have some water" I said almost crying myself. I grabbed one of the bottles that stood on a small table and opened it up for her.

How could Tom do this? And how could I be so stupid and naive?

"Then he pushed me out of the car and, I walked to Rino's house because he lived much closer. I tried to call you, but Rino's phone didn't connect to your Swedish phone number or whatever. Gosh I was so scared you were dead" Loren said choking on her tears that she tried to hold back.

"I'm ok Loren, I'm ok" I said hugging her again.

"Then Kiroshi sent some guys to find me, and they did. They drove me back to him and he was literally so pissed. Like what else was I supposed to do when I hear gunshots?" Loren laughed with tears in her eyes.

"I'm so sorry this happened to you" I said wiping off her tears.

"It's not your fault" Loren said sighing.

"But what am I supposed to do now? Tom excepts me to come back to their house after this party. And by the way I don't even know his plan. They had a lot of guns on the kitchen table at their house and I just get so paranoid, fuck" I said shaking my hands.

"Tom knows Liam has a dozen guards all around the place, I don't think he will just barge in and magically shot them all. Honestly I don't even know, but you can't go back to him, you can't" Loren said looking up and blinking to prevent tears from falling down.

"I'm sure I can stay with Liam or something" I sighed.

We both looked at each other and immediately acted normal when we heard someone walk in.
Melanie?!

"Ohh, hi Angelina... see you found Loren, is everything ok why are you crying?" Melanie said walking up to us.

"Hi, Loren might be pregnant" I lied. I now knew I couldn't trust anyone that stood by Toms side.

"Oh, whose is it?" Melanie asked.

"Kiroshi's, I think" Loren said glaring at me.

Melanie opened her eyes widely.
"But what are you doing here? is everything ok?" I asked Melanie, remembering that she said she'll show up if something goes wrong.

"Yeah everything is alright" she answered and turned to Loren giving her a look that said she didn't trust her.

"You can trust her it's fine" I said.

"Well, Tom and Bill got in by saying they want to make a deal with Kiroshi and Liam" Melanie sighed.

"Do you think this will end well?" I asked her.

She shrugged- "you know Tom, but there is a lot of guards and I doubt Tom would take such a risk" she said.
But that's the thing, I don't actually know Tom. I thought I did. But he's a manipulative liar, I can't trust anything that came out his mouth.

"Y'all should head back, or else y'all start to look suspicious. They're siting on the sofa" Melanie said walking towards the mirror to put on some lipstick.
