Chapter 4

-Angelina-

"Good morning Lor, how do you feel?" I say making my way to the kitchen, smelling the sweet taste of pancakes in the pan.

"Morning! Good actually, you?" Loren asked giving me a plate.

"Same, so when are we going out for shopping?" I asked dipping my pancake in some jam.

"Soon, so hurry up and get ready. It's 1pm we slept in." She said laughing a little.

-TIME SKIP-

We were sitting at a restaurant after a lot of shopping and talking with many friends of Loren that we met while walking around the mall. They all seemed nice, I was glad she was doing great here.

"So what will you be wearing at the car race tonight?" I asked her.

"Maybe a mini denim skirt, a cute top and my heels." She said taking a sip of her milkshake. "What about you?"

"I think I'll wear my denim miniskirt and a matching denim top" I replied.

"Yess you'll look great, can't wait" Loren said.

Yeah you too, I'm so glad I'm here with you" I said with a big smile.

"Same, by the way Rino will pick us up at around 11" She said.

"Sweet" I nodded.

-TIME SKIP-

"Ok so how do I look?" I asked Loren coming to the bathroom where se was.

"Amazing, you really suit your hair down in waves." She replied while brushing her teeth.

"Thanks babe, you too" That skirt looked fr good on her.

"Here, take my hoop earrings and my rings they will go perfect with your outfit" She said handing them to me.

"Thanks! Cmon we have to hurry up it's 10:50" I said while putting in the earrings and leaving the bathroom.

"Mhmm" Loren mumbled while spitting out the toothpaste from her mouth.

"Hey ladies, y'all look wonderful tonight." Rino said picking us up.

"Hi, so do you" I said to Rino smiling at Loren.

We talked for a little with Rino on our way to the race but I stopped fallowing along when I saw the amount of people and the cars that were there.

Me and Loren were just talking when we saw four cars pull up very close to us, most people that were around us had to move to not get hit. Loren and Rino seemed not bothered by it, but I found it a little weird.

Each guy stepped out of their cars and two boys had girls following along with them.

"That's Tom and his guys, the guys I told you to stay away from, let's go to the other side" Loren whispered to me.

We left to stay a little further away but we could still se the view perfectly.
One of those guys was pretty hot, I wondered who he was. "Who's the guy with the bandana on his forehead?" I asked Loren.

"That's Tom" Loren said turning to me and looking at me like I was about to do something I shouldn't.

"Ok I was just wondering, relax" I said looking at her smiling.

"Oh shit" Loren said looking behind me like she saw a ghost.

"What is it? You have to tell me because I'll make it obvious if I look back" I said to her quickly.

"My crush is here" She said clearly smiling to the guy that was about six feet away from us if I'd had to guess.

"WHAT, you didn't tell me about your crush? Nahh. Go talk to him then" I said to her a little confused because I literally just heard about him now. For as long as I knew Loren she had a lot of crushes so when I really think about it, it probably just slipped my mind.

"No I can't leave you here" She said still looking at him.

"Cmon go, I'll be fine" It made me giggle how happy she got when she saw him, so i didn't really care that she left me alone. It's not like they're gonna talk for hours and leave me completely anyway.

I looked at Loren as she was walking towards her mysterious crush after thanking me. When I turned back I locked my eyes straight with Toms.

"Shit" I mumbled to my self. I turned quickly around and just began walking. Then I realized it wasn't that deep and I didn't need to hide just cuz I looked him in the eyes, but whatever.

"Where are you going?" Loren said to me, confused as why I was walking away.

"Just need to use the toilet, I'll be back soon" I smiled to her. Boi I didn't even knew where the toilets were so I just walked till a saw a corner of a building and planned to turn around and head back to Loren with hope that she was done talking with her crush.
It was a little scary here alone after all the things she told me about, yesterday. I turned around and stopped when I saw a tall guy standing right in front of me. Tom.

"So where are you going?" He asked.

"I was just.... trying to make a phone call, the connection there is really bad" I said holding the eye contact he started.

"Are you new in town?" he asked stepping a little closer to me.

"Yeah kinda, I'm visiting my friend Loren" I replied.

"I see, why did you storm off when you saw me looking at you?" He asked smirking.

"Huh? Oh that wasn't why I left, you know not everything is about you" Shit... why did I just say that, was that rude? I was only being sarcastic.

Tom smiled at me and after a few seconds he said- "I would like you to be my ride when I'll race".

"Oh thank you, but I don't-" he cut me off.

"That wasn't a question, see you in five. You know what my car looks like." He said turning around and leaving me with my unfinished sentence.
