Chapter 59

-Angelina-

"Angelina, wake up. Shh" I heard Kate whisper.

My head was spinning and I couldn't understand if I was dreaming or not. "Kate? What are you doing here?" I asked whispering.

"Getting you the fuck out of this place. Loren is downstairs. Get up, quiet" she whispered.

Tom was still asleep. I doubt he thought I was gonna runaway again.
I slid down off the bed quietly, not making a lot of movement.
I trusted Kate. I followed after her downstairs and saw Loren. She was holding the front door slightly open. She smiled at me and I realized this wasn't a dream. Either way, i didn't have much to lose now. Now I knew what kind of person Tom was.

We got quickly out and quietly ran to Kate's car. We sat in and Kate slowly began driving. After she drove out of the dark alley she began speeding the car.

"What the hell is happening?" I asked still noshes after everything that happened.

"I can't continue seeing you get hurt. You two do not deserve this. I'm driving you to the airport, your flight will leave soon so we have to hurry" Kate explained with small tears in her eyes.

"What? Tom is literally gonna kill you" Loren said with a worried look on her face.

"...Georg wouldn't let him" Kate said. "Tom has changed since he met you, Angelina. And It can get worse. I'm worried for you" she added.

"I'm sorry" I said. I didn't meant for him to change. He was so sweet in the beginning. I never would have thought he would dig a knife in my skin.

"It's not your fault. Tom is problematic" Kate said. True.

She was driving so fast we got to the airport in no time.
She stopped her car and we ran to the entrance.

Kate showed us the way and we walked quickly through the security and checking and everything else.

"Great, we made it in time. Y'all just need to go in that line" Kate said catching her breath.

"Thank you, Kate- for everything. We can't even tell you how grateful we are for you helping us. I wish you could come with us" I said holding her hand.

"Thank you too, you were a true friend to me. I wish I could know you better. But you understand me, not a lot of people do. Oh I almost forgot, here's your phone" she said with a weak smile. "Have a safe flight home, I saved my number in your phone. If something happens consuming Tom, call me. I'm not sure how I will be able to help but I'll try" she said.

"Thank you!" I said hugging her. I felt tears start rolling down my face.

Loren joined our hug and then we said our final goodbyes.

Me and Loren walked to the gate and went through a glass door. We stood last in the line, but the line wasn't long so it was fine.

I felt happy. Though It was sad to leave Kate, and remember all the memories I got here. However, I never was more excited to fly back home than I am now. I was soon going to be free again. Loren is now also with me and i don't have to worry for her either.

The line was getting shorter. Me and Loren turned around to wave Kate goodbye but froze when we saw Tom walking closer to her. I knew he had probably seen that me and Loren were still here, but he didn't try to stop us. He didn't try to break through the glass door or even slap Kate for helping us escape.
He just stood next to Kate, looking at me. He had his hands in his pockets, and had a look on his face that was a mix of emotions. He looked almost sad, or like he was regretting something. Why didn't he try to stop me? Was he finally feeling bad for me after everything he's done?

"Next" said the lady working there.
I broke the eye contact with Tom by looking down. I gave the Lady my ticket and then she asked- "don't you have any bags with you? And uh honey, what happened to your face and arms?"

"No I don't have any bags with me, I got in a car accident. But I'm fine now" I replied.

"Well you don't look very fine, you should probably see a doctor" the lady said. No shit.

"Yeah, I will. In Sweden" I said.

"I will have get from the airplane help you" She sighed and gave me my ticket back and let me inside of the plane. Loren came right after me.

We got to our seats and sat down.
I breathed slowly in and out. Hopefully this is over now.

"Ok, Angelina" Loren sighed. "How the fuck did you get in a car crash? Tom is a very good driver, he never crashes" she said.

"It's a long story. Basically, as Tom was driving down the hill- Liam tried to make a shortcut and drove straight down the hill. Eventually his car flipped and began rolling down, then the car blew up. Because of the blowup, Tom lost control while driving and the car flipped" I explained.

"Omg, I wish I could have been there for you. Sorry" Loren said. "But Tom knew Liam's car was going to blow up. That's why me and Bill went to my garage a few days ago. We damaged the car, but it wasn't noticeable. Didn't Tom tell you this?" Loren asked.

"No?" I answered.

"Alright well, you need some rest. Now we can peacefully relax and sleep" Loren said leaning her head back.

"You're right, we'll talk later about ALL of this" I said leaning my head back as well and closed my eyes.
