7 years later (za'riya pov)
"Mommy can we go to auntie Kayla house now" our now 7 year old daughter sage asked
Not much as changed in the past years me and kemoni are now married we still only have 1 kid but we're planning on more me and moni are still going strong and our love is growing stronger everyday
"No baby she's busy right now and it's a school night let's get you in the bath okay" I told her and he frowned
"Fine I guess" she said stomping away "DADDY MOM IS BEING MEAN" she yelled out to kemoni and I laughed kemoni came in hold sage in his arms
"Now why are you being mean to my daughter" he asked and he looked at sage "you want me to beat her up?" He asked and she nodded pouting
He set her down and started to fake hit me "omg ow ow stop it" I said playing along and we started laughing
"Cmon sage let's get you in the bath" I said and she nodded going to the bathroom and I went to her room to get clothes for her
I heard the door open and I see kemoni just looking at me "what bug why are looking at me" I said and he shrugged "your just so pretty I love you so much" he said and I smiled "I love you more handsome"
I finished bathing sage and I put her to bed me and kemoni were laying in bed watching tv "I'm so glad I met you and I'm so glad everything worked out" I said looking at him
"I'm happy to mama I really am" he said genuinely I kissed his cheek and he smiled
I got up and went to check on sage and saw she was intact sleeping I hovered my hand over her and and said a silent prayer
Lord please let my daughter sleep peacefully through the night I wanna thank you for giving her life and pulling her through in Jesus name I pray amen.
I walked out her room quietly closing the door I walked back to the room to see kemoni on the edge of the bed waiting for me
"Let's go downstairs I'm hungry can you cook?" He asked and I nodded "what do you want?" He thought for a moment then answered " shrimp pasta please" and I nodded we walks down stairs and I began cooking
Kemoni sat on the couch playing his ps5 he put his controller down and walked to the kitchen where I was I was cutting onions for the shrimp
"Ma we should take sage to Disney land right?" He asked and I nodded "yeah that would be nice" I said looking at him over my shoulder while still cutting
I cut the palm of my hand and I froze "mami are you okay?" He asked and I nodded he walked over to me and grabbed my hand "shit baby you cut yourself why didn't you tell?" He asked and I shrugged
"Let me see it let's go to the bathroom so I can clean it" he told me walking to the bathroom
He cleaned my cut and wrapped it I finished cooking we both ate and we were now upstairs in our room watching movies
It was now 10:45 and I was really sleepy "moni I'm sleepy" I told him and he picked me up putting me on his chest "go to sleep baby I'm gonna stay up" and I nodded closing my eyes letting sleep take over
