Third's P.O.V:
"Okay, we need to talk about Amber! We are seriously going to pretend that James isn't beating her! Que Carajo are we going to do?!"
"Vaggie, we tried to talk to Amber about it, but she won't even let us help her. She won't even let any of us go near him."
"She has a fucking broken arm, Charlie! It's clear as day! Alastor, why can't you do anything about it?! You know that James is hurting, and you ain't doing nothing! Don't you care?!"
"Because, Angel, She won't let me. I am also angry about it, so don't you dare think that I don't care about her. I know her and how stubborn she is. She won't ask for any help. She always likes this. Trying to protect those she loves, even if they can take care of themselves. Now, if you excuse me, I am going out." Alastor said, walking out of Charlie's office where everyone but Amber and James were having this meeting.
Vaggie was getting frustrated about the whole thing. Charlie felt extreme guilt. Angel knew why Amber was doing it, and he related to it all too well. Husk was annoyed at Amber's actions. Husk had a feeling that she wouldn't change anytime soon, and he knew Alastor would snap sooner rather than later. Niffy was mainly confused. Niffy wanted to stab James many times, but Amber took away her knives and wouldn't even let her near James. Sir Pentious used his egg boys to watch for James, and they reported to him so he could use any form of blackmail. He always saw Amber as an Angel and wanted to protect her, but he didn't want to upset her.
Betty was pissed. She wanted to use her guitar to electric James so much but knew that Amber would scold her and take her guitar away...again. Cain knew that Amber was trying her best to shield everyone. It reminded Cain of how his mom tried to care for him but failed. Randy tried to stay calm but kept gripping his hand into a fist and gritting his teeth. Randy was pissed, just like Betty, but he couldn't do anything. He knew his orders not even to touch James, but some days, he wanted to tear James's throat with his teeth and put James's head on a plate.
Ian was in the corner and had a calm face-too calm, in fact. Nobody knew what Ian was thinking, which was also a good thing. Ian was fuming with anger to the point that it outranked a volcano. He wanted to show James what he had learned in the underground fighting rings and how it didn't matter what size you were; you could still get beaten. He finally found someone who wanted to care for him and wouldn't let this one slide.
Cerrbuii had her ears down and was truly hurt at Amber for not letting her help. She didn't understand why she felt hurt but cared for Amber. When James first grabbed her wrist, Cerrbuii tried to attack him, but Amber got between them, and Cerrbuii saw that Amber was trying to protect her. Cerrbuii was worried, but she saw Amber was shaking a bit. It was like Amber was facing a true monster besides being in Hell. Cerrubii didn't understand why Amber wouldn't let her and her followers go near James to teach him what happens when you hurt those under the moon's protection. She tried to make James leave the Hotel by performing pranks all over the Hotel, but so far, nothing has worked.
Alastor knew that Amber was wearing herself out. He knows the signs. She smiled, but it was almost hallow, and her eyes lost their spark. She barely noticed anyone around her, and it was scaring Alastor. Alastor, the Radio Demon, being scared for the one person who helped him during his serial killer days? Alastor let out a tsk at the thought and walked to his room to find a way to help his darling. He looked through his books and tried to find anything to get James away from Amber without laying a hand on him, but each book had the same answer: he couldn't. He was getting nowhere and growled before throwing a book at the wall.
