Grey clouds bloated with rain
Rolling in to soak the land
As the sky goes from light to dark
No one is prepared for the sudden spark
It travels jaggedly across the sky
The sound of thunder closely behind
There's no need to be scared
'Cause I have come to find
Storms won't last all the time
Unlike the ones we deal with everyday
Our mind always battling
Trying to win an imaginary fight
It created from absolutely nothing
A bait to draw us in, we already know it
But like a hungry fish underwater
We take it, bite down and become hooked
Fighting to get away
Just wishing to get out
But we took the bait and tried to run
So now the inner battle will start
The storm outside still rages on
As the one inside has only just begun
