"As long as we are together, we can make anything right"

Finally, I present the dish that I made as a punishment to Liam.

He waited patiently until I was done making, now Finally putting an end to his patience, I placed the plate infront of him.

The smell grabbing his attention, a smile appearing on his lips, soon he moved his hand forward for a bite, taking a small portion from the plate, soon it went into his mouth.

Well I'm confident in my skills, I'm sure it tastes just as good as it looks.
But why does he just keep on eating without a word? He should atleast praise me a little... huh it hurts my ego.

"How does it tastes?" I asked, with a little head tilt, as I stopped waiting for him to praise me. Praises are what charge me up.

"It's good" He said, vaguely.
Seriously, is it bad? Why is he not saying anything.

"Let me have a taste too" I said, as I moved to take a bite, only for him to snatch the plate away.

"Hey! What are you doing, I also want to eat" I complained, shocked by his weird behavior.

"No, no need" He said, refusing to let go of the plate.

"No way!" I said angrily, and as I walked over to him and grabbed on the plate, trying to take the plate away from him.

"No!"

"No! Give it to me!"

"No!" Our voices clashed as we both grappled for control of the plate. In the midst of our tug-of-war, Liam's shout pierced the air, and the plate took flight. With eyes wide in horror, we could only watch as it arced above us, destined to fall.

As the food rained down, coating us in a cascade of colors and scents, we stood frozen, shock etched on our faces. The plate met the floor with a definitive crash, its contents now a part of our unintended attire. Amidst the chaos, a rogue morsel found its way into my mouth, prompting an involuntary grimace. "Yuck!"

"Yuck, who made this?" I complained, feeling the bad taste in my mouth, the taste making me make faces.

"You" Liam said with a straight face, but I can see he is trying to control his laugh.

"Well, I guess it's not that bad" I said, while drinking water, feeling embarrassed to even make eye contact with him.

We both felt something in our mouth, covering our mouth, we ran to the kitchen, together.

When we reached the kitchen, we ended up vomiting in the sink, yeah it was that bad.

Once we were done, we spared a glance at eachother, bursting into laughter.

The whole room, and the restaurant, got filled with our laughs, it wasn't that funny, but we still ended up laughing to the point that are cheeks hurt and stomachs ached.

The moment passed, and I was back in my house, my room. Sitting on my desk in my room, I stared outside the window.
The moonlight, lightning up my dim lit room, and at the same time being my solace as well.

Mom... I miss you, but things are going well, I was... alone... and feeling lonely as well, but not anymore, I will get you your treatment, and then you will be all better and we will have fun.
Im busy here, but tomorrow I will come to you, the first thing in the morning, so please hang in there, and don't have much of a hard time, there's someone waiting for you.

I say in my mind, while looking at the moon, hoping the moon will take my letter to her, I rest my head on the table, and without even knowing I fell asleep as the moonlight kissed my cheeks.
