(Isla's pov)

After a long time of being in the car, we finally reached the town, cein stopped the car infront of the restaurant, from the car's window I could see the restaurant bustling, and that made me feel relieved a little.

But Liam didn't say anything on the whole way... is he ok?
Even now he seems to be lost in his thoughts that he doesn't even realize that we have reached...

"Just drop us here cein, I also have to check on the restaurant..." I said.

"Ok then, take care both of you, I'll come meet you guys later" cein said before dropping us off and driving away.

"Liam?" I called Liam's name with concern,
"Are you ok?" I asked, looking at him.

"Yes I'm" He said, Turning around and walking towards the restaurant fast. What happened to him?

"And here comes the winner!" Aunty amelia welcomed us.

"How have you all been" I asked, hugging maya.

"We have been good, and we also took a very good care of your restaurant" Maya said, with a smile on her face.

"Aww thankyou!" I said, pinching her cheeks. I'm glad Maya is able to smile now.

"Congratulations to you both, you both got the first place" one of the staff member, Raju congratulated us. We were receiving congratulations from everyone, but the one who played the most part in getting us win, remained silent.

"Oh, I have prepared special dinner for both of you, have some before we all go back home" aunty Amelia stated.

"I'm sorry, but I can't join you all tonight, i have some important business to do at home" Liam said, refusing to join us for dinner, and as soon as he completed his sentence, he made his way out in a hurry, all of us stood in silence, what happened to him, is he ok?.

(Liam's pov)

Somehow, with a heavy body, I finally managed to reach home but as soon as i open and close the door behind me, my knees come in contact with the cold floor.

I fall to the ground, my hands aggressively grabbing onto my head,

"What did I do? How could I do that? Why the hell did I do that?" I whisper, my voice echoing in my empty room, while my tears continue to fall down from my eyes.
I made a mistake. A very big one.

I signed the contract. The promise. I broke it. I let my feelings control me. I... I... love her... my voice cracked, as I confessed everything to my room, but these confessions should stay buried here, they should not get out of here... but still I...

What if that puts her in trouble... that heart ache... I know that ache was because I broke the rule... what if she gets that heart ache too? What if I have put her in danger? I ruined everything I ruined it all...
