We're all waiting for Kiara to come back to show us what she found. She then hands some packaging to John B. Pope is the first person to speak up, "That's not gold."
Kiara grunts as she climbs down.
"Holy shit. This is from my dad." John B says. I look over to get a better look at what John B is holding, until I hear a vehicle approaching.
"Code red. Code red. Square groupers! Square groupers!" JJ tells us.
"Go. Go. Go." Kiara says as we all quickly go behind the wall.
"It's the guys who robbed yall's house."
"Guys, turn of your lights." I say turning off mine. John B is struggling to turn his off, while the rest of us have ours off.
"Turn your light off, man!" Pope whisper.
Kie tells him, "John B? Your light!"
JJ looks over the wall at the men. I ask, "Do you think it's them?"
"Homie's got a gun."
"Screw this." Kiara says as she starts running. We all follow her. We get to a fence and start to climb it. I'm the first one over.
"Hurry up!" JJ whispers.
"Guys, I'm stuck." Pope says in a worried tone.
"Pope, come on!"
"I got you." Kiara helps him down.
"No. Pope, don't move, okay?" JJ pulls out the gun.
"You're gonna rip me."
"JJ no, don't." I say.
"Wait." John B points JJ's gun to the floor.
"You're gonna rip me!"
"You're fine. Come on!"
"Pope, come on!"
Pope's shorts rip and he's not stuck on the gate anymore.
"Nice! Come on, dude. It's a little Tootsie Roll."
Kiara and I are laughing.
"Get in! Stupid!" Kie says.
We all get in the car and drive away.
...
We're back at home. John B is inspecting the packaging.
"That bread had mold on it three days ago." Pope points to the bread.
"I'll just pull off the bad parts. Plus, mold is good for you. It's just a natural organism."
"JJ!" Kiara calls him over.
"Yup, yup, yup! Hot damn! Let's do it." JJ comes over then takes a bite of his molded bread. He gags and spits it out. I just shake my head. John B starts to open up the package.
"Holy sh*t."
"A map." I say.
"Oh. X marks the spot." Pope points to the X.
"Longitude, latitude." John B calculates. "Wait, there's somethin' else in there." He pulls out a recorder from the package.
"What's that?" JJ asks.
"It's a tape recorder, dumbass." Kie says.
John B hits play on the recorder. It starts playing Big John's voice. "Dear Bird... and dove." Sounding like he rather have had just John B find this...
"Who's Bird and dove?" JJ asks.
"That's what my dad called me." John B says.
"Bird," Pointing to John B, "Dove." pointing to me. I'm surprised he even included me on this, he would only share his treasure hunts barely with John B.
