Connie walked up to the warp pad, excited for her first mission. "Okay, Connie, make sure to be careful and stay with Steven." Pearl said to Connie, worried she would get hurt. "This is a stealth mission, so whisper." Steven stayed close to Connie, afraid she would get hurt. Truth was, Steven was going to get hurt. A monster came out of the ground, and tried to grab Steven, but something happened-a weapon came out of Connie's hands. A blue sword. Connie, using her sword fighting skills, whacked the monster's weird tentacle away. "Steven, are you okay?" Connie asked, amazed by what she did. The Crystal Gems were amazed too. "That was awesome!" Amethyst shouted, making the monster Garnet was fighting charge toward her. Amethyst whacked it away with her whip. "Okay! While we're distracting the monster, you guys go find gem shards, okay? All of them." Garnet said, punching said monster in stomach. "Alright! Let's go." Steven and Connie went deeper into the cave....
