Note: I honestly don't really know how to end the series- so I apologize if everything seems quick passed for the next three chapters! Remember I'm re-writing what I wrote when I was a child (maybe 12 or 14) which Made NO SENSE and was more random then anything so bare with me. Thankies for the support recently as well. Alright let's go back to the story.
[Tails POV / Past]
When I first saw her, I was awestruck. The winter breeze blew through her green hair and the blue glow in her eyes glared straight into my soul I sent Espio's team to go capture this pureblood but here she was covered in someones blood. "Who are you?" Her voice was cold and harsh, I didn't know how to react to her, she was exactly what I was looking for the best experiment I needed to save Sonic!
"I'm... Tails." I dropped my gun, she stared at my gun before glancing to me, I could tell she was curious of what I wanted. "I need you're help, you. You're perfect for what I'm looking for! I need a Pureblood to finish making my anti-vamp!" I said with a huge smile, a part of me felt like I can rely on this pureblood as if they had the same goal as me. "Anti-Vamp?" Her voice soften and she quickly walked up to me, the sound of her steps crunched from the snow and her breathing became heavier as she moved. "Yes.. I'm making a cure."
She seemed puzzled but also happy to hear about my experiments, "what's your name?" I asked reaching out my hand for her to take.
That's when I met a pureblood for the first time and the first pureblood who was has ever wanted to turn human.
[Current Time / Narrator's POV]
Shadow and Sonic cradled in each others arms not wanting to be apart, if this was their end of being vampires together for the rest of their lives it was worth it. It's all they ever wanted to be loved by one another no matter the cost.
When they went downstairs and reunited with their friends it felt like things could go back to the way it was they just needed to get Mephiles to hybernate peacefully and hopefully it'll stop this stupid war between them, so this is where it'll begin.
The first act. Shadow smiled at Cream and Rouge, Knuckles slowly came out with his cane into the room happy to see everyone gathered, though they were missing a few it was fine because they knew if they returned to the vampire mansion they will be all gathered like this again. "Look guys, we need to end all this, it's time to go back to the way things were." Sonic said with a determinded look on his face which brought hope to everyone in the room, "if we can get Mephiles to call off the rest of the vampires who came for revenge and explain things clearly hopefully we can stop this war, of course they won't forgive us no. They'll hate us no matter what but I know they do not wish to die or have any more of their love ones die! We will pay back to the vampires of what we've done by rebuilding their small village." Shadow said grabbing a hold of Sonic's hand.
"It won't be easy but right now everyone is tired, hunters are injured and vampires have died, they can't continue this without everyone perishing." Sonic added upset with himself, if he didn't lock himself up and tried listening to everyone he could have seen all this before it started, the town is smoked, the smell of blood in the air and the sounds of the continuing battle kept happening while they tried to think of a plan.
They just had to get Mephiles. "Alright, if everyone is on the same page, me and Sonic will go in and talk to Mephiles ourselves hopefully with Silver's help, then you Rouge you'll be back in town where the battle field is, you'll be trying to rescue as many as you can or at least get them to pull back." Rouge glanced to Knuckles who gripped his cane feeling useless. "Knuckles, you will be going with her but you'll aid the hunters to retreat or get them to at least." Knuckles looked up surprised but smiled happily at Rouge before getting embarrassed for being counted in even with his injuries.
"I'll go to the school and collect Blaze's magic orb to broadcast our alliance once you guys return to the front fields." Cream said standing up, "okay sounds perfect. Now! Let's get moving, no time to waste." Sonic said with a cheer, everyone hurried out of the building going straight to the horses to ride off to do their task. They didn't know what was to come, Shadow and Sonic dashed to the vampire mansion expecting it to be cleared but the mansion was on fire, "...Mari-" Shadow stopped himself, seeing the same mansion again burn down felt like he was back in time again.
"Shadow! We have to help anyone inside!" Shadow snapped out of it feeling Sonic's touch, yes it's no longer the same! They have each other now.
They went into the flames looking for any one trapped and luckily their wasn't but they could hear the soft weeps from upstairs. "Mephiles!" Shadow called out barging into Mephiles room where he saw Mephiles curled up sobbing out he didn't seem sad, he seemed angry the tears of someone who couldn't hold their anger. "Mephiles! Come on we need to go!" Shadow grabbed Mephiles hand trying to pull him out of the flames but Mephiles didn't move, "I don't want to be here..." Shadow glared at Mephiles hearing his words. "Mephiles this isn't the time-"
"It's okay.." Mephiles looked up seeing Sonic reach his hand out, "come on, everyones waiting for you." The way Sonic was gentle cooled Mephiles heart and allowed them all to escape. "What happened here?" Shadow asked relieved to see the remaining Vampires outside, "It was Blaze! She started the fire and started killing everyone!" One of the vampires said in tears, "we should have never trusted that witch! She killed my daughter!" Another one cried. Shadow and Sonic looked at each other shocked, "what about Silver?" They asked concerned.
"He... He was with her." Mephiles mumbled staring off, it was like his soul left his body. "No it can't be! Silver would never have hurt-"
"But he did! He was there helping her murder everyone! These were the remaining vampires we have around and the rest are dying in that battle field you want to tell me what the hell is going on!" Mephiles yelled out furious. The vampires all around could feel his anquish, the power of a pureblood surged through them making them bow down none speaking since they don't know either other than Shadow.
"I don't know why Blaze decided to do this, but I've come to talk about Sonic being a hybrid and how we should stop this war." Shadow said trying to resist being controlled, he didn't know how to refuse a Pureblood. "Stop this war? Sonic a hybrid?" It felt like everything was happening way to fast, as if it was all planned but for what? "We wanted to come here so we can help stop this war so no more vampires die, I don't know what Blaze is planning but I know for sure Silver wasn't in on it! He must be mind controlled or maybe it wasn't him!" Sonic said looking at Mephiles determined to convince him to help them, it wouldn't work though since Mephiles was full of different emotions right now, his best friend betrayed them, the vampires who were staying here waiting for loved ones to return from battle were slaughtered and here he was just sitting here moping around because Silver never once looked for him!
"I.. I don't.." Mephiles bit his bottom lip with a hiss trying to calm his nerves but staying awake all this time his body is growing weaker, "Mephiles! Silver and Blaze have joined the war with us!" Everyones eyes darted to one of the vampire soliders hurrying over happily, "you convinced Silver to join us again in battle? That's amazing-" The solider soon stopped in his tracks seeing the mansion burning and only a handful of vampires covered in blood sobbing behind Mephiles. "What.."
"We need to go to the battlefield! Get to Blaze and Silver and stop them!" Mephiles roared, the soliders at the battle field could feel Mephiles energy surging through them but he was too far for them to know what he was ordering they only knew they had to stop someone but who? Blaze glanced to Silver who was laughing in battle spinning around as he slaughtered vampires who no one could see through the fog. "Why are we even here? We had a chance to get Mephiles so why do this?" Blaze asked sitting at the edge of a rooftop. "Because Mephiles isn't there yet, you can kill him once he's fully weakened right now he has a chance to stop you, soon he won't be able to speak to give out orders." Silver said looking up at Blaze with a huge grin, "and once you stab that pureblood in the heart Sonic will rage and turn!" Blaze rolled her eyes glancing toward the red aura in the forest far off where the mansion was burning.
"What if Sonic doesn't turn?" Blaze asked feeling Mephiles presense getting closer. "If he doesn't kill Shadow next." Silver said pulling out one of the crystals spinning it on his finger before turning himself into Rouge. "Now, let's play a trick on them of where Silver is~" Rouge laughed loudly. (It's Tails for those who aren't realizing he shifted into Silver to Rouge)
