Talia awoke, curled up in a ball in the corner of the room. She was cold, and goosebumps speckled her pale skin.
Her sun kissed freckles were faded and no longer there.
She heard Peeta's agonizing scream and yells from down the hallway in the torture rooms.
She heard a faint buzzing, but she wasn't sure if it was her bad ear, or she was really hearing buzzing.
She could barely sit up, she was so dizzy and disoriented.
She hadn't eaten or dranken anything since the games.
Thalia crawled over to the toilet, and tried her best to stand up. She grabbed the bars over the window and hoisted herself up, so she was standing on the toilet looking for Johanna.
"Jo!" She whisper screamed.
It was dark, only the light from the hallway lighting the room.
"Yeah?" A small voice cracked.
"Are you okay?" Asked Thalia.
Johanna groaned.
" they did more shocks. I don't think I'm ever going to touch water ever again." She said.
Thalia could agree.
"are you okay?" Asked Johanna.
"I need to eat." She said, sighing.
Johanna stopped in her tracks.
" they haven't... fed you?" Asked Johanna.
" they fed you?" Asked Thalia.
Johanna nodded.
"Yeah.. some porridge. It's gross, but it's something. I'll see if I can slip you something to eat, okay?"
Thalia nodded.
" thanks Jo. Love you."
"I love you too, Thalia. Stay strong for Finnick."
Thalia's stomach did a flip at the sound of his name.
"I'll try." Thalia promised.
Before she stepped down, she stopped herself.
" is it just my bad ear, or do you hear buzzing?" Asked Thalia.
" no, I hear it too." Johanna answered.
Thalia's heart dropped when she realized what it was from.
" Jo." She said.
" yeah?"
" they're using tracker jacket venom on Peeta."
" Oh my god. You're right!" Johanna gasped.
"Thalia, that's going to mess him up. For life!" She yelled.
