Thalia snuck out of her room around midnight. The lights had been turned off during the night to preserve the limited energy 13 still held. She headed up to the air station, where a hovercraft buzzed with power.

She hid behind a storage container as she saw Finnick boarding the hovercraft, trident in hand.

He walked up the ramp, and once he was out of sight, and the ramp began to close, Thalia sprinted to the ramp.

She excellerated up the ramp, and dove behind some weapon containers. She took a deep breath, as she began to settle.

She rested her head atop of a backpack and went to sleep, to the soft humming sound of the hovercraft.

Thalia awoke to a sudden jolt of the hovercraft, indicating it had landed. She heard people talking, one of them being Finnick's voice.

"I don't know what I'm going to do about Thalia. I'm trying to help her, but..."

someone else's voice sighed.

"Just be there, provide support. That's all you can do."

"She doesn't accept the support. I feel just as bad as she does, and I don't know how to help her anymore. These games, this war. It's changed her."

Thaila felt a pain in her chest.

Had she changed? She definitely isn't as happy as she was, but was she really just numb.

She couldn't really feel anything anymore, besides anger and sadness.

She longed for the love and compassion she used to hold, and prayed she would get it back one day.

She hoped her and Finnick would be okay, because right now, Thalia didn't know if he would be very happy to see her right now.

After Finnick and the rest of the crew unloaded off the hovercraft, as the ramp began to close, Thalia hopped out.

There she came face to face, with her husband.

"Thalia? What the hell.." Finnick's eyes softened, then quickly turned to anger.

"What are you doing here! You were supposed to stay in 13!"

Tears were brought to Thalia's eyes.

"I couldn't keep still. I couldn't let you go out risking your life without me." She explained.

"You're going to get killed, Thalia!" Finnick rubbed his temples.

"Then we get killed together! But I'm not letting you out here alone. You saw what happened underground, didn't you?"

Finnick groaned.

"I don't need your help Thalia! Go back to 13 and heal!" He pointed back up to the hovercraft.

He threw her over his shoulders, and began walking up the ramp. "Finnick let go of me! Put me down!" She thrashed. He lost grip of her legs and sent Thalia towards the ground, landing on her head.

She got up and brushed herself off.

"You do need my help. I know this place better than you do. I can't keep sitting in that bed feeling sorry for myself. I need to do something."
