Thalia's mother left Tess with Prim, her new favorite babysitter.

They made their way to Thalia's room, only to see a doctor in the room.

"Did you hear?" The doctor asked them.

"Hear what?" Finnick asked.

"Next Monday, they're going to see if Thalia can wake up. They've arranged a shipment of medicine on Sunday."

Thalia's mother and Finnick looked at each other.

"Will she be okay when she wakes up?" Asked Thalia's mother.

"Well, I can imagine she'd still be shaken up by the torture. But if she had the right support system.." the Doctor went on.

Finnick nodded, silently.

" we'll be here when she wakes up." He said, nodding to Thalia's mother.

The doctor changed her antibiotics bag and walked out. Thalia's mother sat on Thalia's bedside, right where Finnick had laid that last night to sleep. She studied her daughter, taking in her condition.

Her skin was still pinkish, but not as bad as the first day. Her bruises around her neck were still purple, but turning yellow on the outside indicating it was healing.

The blows to her ribs were still a deep purple, as well as the healing incision cut right below her bottom rib.

The wraps and gauze around her chest and the tight sleep shorts made her look almost like a mummy.

Healing hickeys along her neck and collarbone from the assault were finally loosing their color, which made both Finnick and Thalia's mother happy.

Finnick just hoped that when she woke up, she would still be her same, sweet and strong old self.

He sat in the chair next to her bedside as Thalia's mother laid next to Thalia. Finnick intertwined his fingers with Thalia's, gently rubbing with his thumb.

Her mother had fallen asleep next to her daughter, both of them sleeping ever so peacefully.

Sunday finally arrived for Thalia to be awoken. The hospital staff wheeled her to a white room, similar to the one Peeta was held in.

Only one of Thalia's loved ones were allowed in, according to the head doctor. Thalia's mother looked at Finnick and grabbed his arm.

"Go."

Finnick looked at her with confusion.

"You should, you're her mother."

Thalia's mother half smiled. "She only calms down for you. Go."

Finnick nodded, and hugged her goodbye. He stepped into the room, where Thalia was transferred to a new hospital bed.

One of the doctors grabbed her wrist and handcuffed it to the side bar of the bed.

"No, no, no." Finnick said. "She can't be cuffed." The doctor looked at home with confusion.
