Jungkook quickly got up from the bed and looked around, but he didn’t find anyone. Soon, he heard laughter, and not only was his mother there, but his whole family was there, laughing at him.
Kook: “Yaah! You all are meanies...” he pouted.
Juni: “No... no... my baby Kook. We’re really sorry.”
Kook: “Why are you always bringing my future baby into it to wake me up? It’s not fair,” he whined, making the whole family laugh even harder.
Hobi: “So, my baby brother, you only wake up when it’s related to your future baby.”
Juni: “Yes, Hoba, you’re right.”
Haneul: “Hey, don’t tease my son, okay? He was just dreaming about his baby. That’s why he was curious to meet him, right, Kook?”
Jungkook didn’t know whether his father was teasing him too or supporting him, but when he heard the laughter again, he understood.
Kook: “You’re all really meanies,” he pouted.
They laughed at him, and then Juni gasped. Everyone looked at her.
Juni: “Argh!!! I really forgot why we came to Kook’s room. You, Jeon Jungkook! We’re going to a forest resort now, but you’re sleeping and daydreaming about my son-in-law!” she shouted.
Hobi: “Aishh!! We totally forgot about it, Mom. We should go now.”
Kook: “Okay, okay, I’ll be ready in 15 minutes. I already packed my luggage, okay? Just give me 15 minutes.” He left.
Haneul: “Okay, okay, jagi, we should go pack some food and his banana milk.”
Juni: “Yeah, I totally forgot about that.” She quickly ran to the kitchen, and they left Jungkook’s room.
Soon, Jungkook was ready and came downstairs. They loaded the luggage into the car. The forest resort was a six- to seven-hour journey. Now, the family—Jungkook, Haneul, Juni, Hobi, and Hobi’s parents—were going together. No bodyguards or drivers were with them.

They reached the forest resort, parked the car, took the luggage, and walked into the resort. Now they took their respective rooms. The couples took their room, but Jungkook and Hobi had separate ones.
Jungkook went to his room, unpacked his bag, freshened up, and then fell asleep.

They were at the resort restaurant now. Our Jungkook was really upset because his father didn’t allow him to go near the forest today. But he wanted to go and explore the forest. He kept whining to go, but his parents said they’d be staying for five days and he could explore later.
Kook: “Please, Appa, why are you doing this to me? You know how much I love nature, and again you’re doing this,” he said dramatically.
Juni: “Okay, Kook, you’ll go in the morning, okay?”
Haneul: “But—” he was about to say, but Hobi’s mother cut him off.
Eun: “It’s okay, brother-in-law, and Kook, you can go in the morning, okay?” she said, and Kook nodded.
