Now Taehyung and his bunny were sleeping peacefully because today was Sunday and a rest day for Taehyung.

But soon, Taehyung’s phone rang loudly and made the bunny flinch. Taehyung groaned and patted the bunny not to be scared and lifted the call, as it was his hospital’s director.

Doctor: "Hello, Kim Taehyung. I’m really sorry to disturb your family Sunday, but today we have very important cases. We had to admit children to our hospital—around 10 to 12 are in serious condition, along with other children already admitted. I’ve already called Doctor Seokjin and Doctor Jimin. They’re also coming. I don’t really trust anyone else. You know how I trust you three. You’re my best paediatric doctors in Seoul. Please come fast, Doctor Taehyung. They’re really critical."

Taehyung understood the situation and said,

Tae: "Okay, sir. I’m coming." He cut the call and looked at the bunny, who was already watching him.

Tae: "Sorry, bun, I have to go now. Children are in danger, and I’ll try to come home early, okay?"

He said, and the bunny nodded.

He smiled and went to the bathroom to do his morning routine, and after a few minutes, he came out and combed his hair.

He looked at the bunny, cupped his face, and kissed his forehead gently.

Tae: "Sorry, bun. I really don’t want to leave you home alone daily, but I don’t have another option." He said and left.

And the bunny was thinking. He had observed Taehyung’s every action daily—how he cared for him even more, becoming so soft with pure love—but he shook his head and lay back on the bed.

Taehyung reached the hospital and went directly to the children’s ward. There he saw Jin and Jimin were already checking on some children, and he also started his work.

After a few hours, around 3 to 4, they took a break. Now the three of them were in Jin’s cabin, seated on a couch for a while and eating the food Jin brought. They were eating when suddenly Taehyung remembered his bun and worried about him.

Tae: "Did he eat or skip his meals again?" he said, and Jin and Jimin looked at him.

Tae: "I already miss him," he said with a pout, but then he heard laughter.

Jimin: "You know, Tae, if Bunny were human, he would be your boyfriend for sure by now," he said and laughed.

Jin: "Yes, you guys are literally giving couple vibes," he added and laughed.

They joked, but those words struck deep in Taehyung. Why would love be limited to boys or girls? He could love anyone he wanted—even a bunny. Love isn’t about gender or form—it’s a feeling. A feeling of safety, of wanting to spend a lifetime with someone who gives you warmth, affection, and countless other emotions. Why must love be restricted to humans? It’s his life, and he has every right to love whoever he chooses.

He was lost in his thoughts and didn’t notice Jin and Jimin were calling him.

Jimin: "TAEHYUNG!!!" he shouted, and Taehyung flinched and looked at them with a nervous smile.

Tae: "Hehehe, sorry, I was thinking about something."

Jin: "Let’s go."

Tae: "Wait, hyung, I’ll be there in five minutes," he said, and they nodded and left.

Taehyung took his phone and called Yoongi. Soon, he picked up.

Yoongi: "Hello, Bear."

Tae: "Hello, hyung. Can you go to Namjoon hyung’s home? We’re coming late today, and he’ll get worried and scared if I don’t come home early."

Yoongi: "Okay, Bear, I’m going. Don’t worry," he said and hung up. Taehyung left for the ward.
