"Hello Yujun sent me to pick up some designs she forgot here." The boy said as he peeked his head through the small crack in the door.

"Oh right, Mark they are on your desk," Y/n said as she turned to her brother.

Mark reached for the folder that was on his desk and handed it to Y/n. Y/n grabbed the folder looked through it and took one of the designs out before handing it over to Jaemin.

"Here, everything should be in there." Jaemin nodded his head slowly, Y/n smiled at him and turned around making her way back to her desk.

"I heard from Yujun that she wants you to model her designs," Mark said which caused Y/n's head to shoot up from her sketchbook.

"Oh... yeah but-" Jaemin was cut off by the boy sitting down on the sofa

"You've never modeled, right? Chenle and Jisung would not shut up about you while we were at the mall" Haechan said, Mark looked at his sister who looked like she was in deep thought.

"Y/n what's wrong?"

"Nothing's wrong... I mean other than the fact that none of you bothered to remind me that we have not started to create the suits for the Restoration." She simply said as she got up from her seat and walked toward Jaemin "I think it would be a great idea to have you model the new designs after all we might need new models after the Restoration."

Jaemin just looked around confused as he saw the boy before him had become as pale as a ghost at the name. However, he saw that the girl remained rather calm or joyful.

"Umm... what is the Restoration?" He said cautiously

"a bloodbath," Haechan said shaking head

"that about sums it up," Mark said

"bloodbath?" Jaemin said with clear confusion written on his face

"yeah-" Jeno was about to explain when Y/n's frustrated voice spoke up

"While I love how all of you are..." she motioned with her hand "bonding I need quiet to make sure I prepare the suit perfectly so we get to live another year." She said with a forced smile on her face

The boys were ready to walk out when she said "Renjun you're helping me, seeing as you enjoy seeing my pain and frustration."

Jeno patted Renjun on the back as he opened the door the others laughed as they left the room.

"Are you just going to stand there? Because if you are you can deal with having to figure out how to create your own clothes so that you're able to survive in the dragon's mountain." Y/n spat

Renjun knew that she didn't mean to sound so mean it was just the frustration speaking. So he just simply smiled and helped Y/n create the design of the clothes and the supplies that would have to be ordered for the suits.

After 4 hours both of them came out of the office. The boys were in the living room playing video games. Needless to say, they had all heard Y/n and Renjun's big argument over making the suits one piece or 2 pieces.

"Send this to your friend in Aleria," She said as she handed the piece of paper to Jeno

"By seeing your face these idiots confused you more than explained the Restoration," Renjun said as he sat next to Jaemin who was sitting at the edge of the couch

"Well, the Restoration happens through all the 7 providences of Selis."

"Selis? As in the continent that trains humans against all other creatures."

"Humans? I guess that is one way you can explain it. Anyway, Selis is protected meaning that only people that are going to the Restoration can enter." Renjun explains, Y/n continues

"All of you suck at explaining." She looks at Jaemin, "The annual event known as The Restoration takes place in the continent of Selis, where warriors are trained to protect society from supernatural threats such as vampires, demons, and werewolves."

"Wait people live there?" Jaemin said to which Y/n nodded and continued

"Each year, 4500 students from various continents are chosen to participate in this rigorous competition, testing their skills and survival instincts in the dangerous terrain of Selis," Y/n explains further

"How does our school choose the students?" Jaemin asks

"The top students usually that is why we have had to go for the last 2 years. And some of us are actually insane and love the last event." Haechan says as he looks at Y/n who is smiling

"What is the point of the Restoration if vampires and demons are not attacking us right now?" Jaemin questioned

"Well according to the information we were given since we were children the ultimate goal of The Restoration is to identify and cultivate the most promising warriors who will go on to defend humanity against the forces of darkness."

Y/n said reciting word for word what was put in the book that explained the history of the Restoration which all of them had to read in order to be ready for the event.

"See, she enjoys it," Haechan said

"Obviously, I haven't touched that book since the first time I went in. It makes me nervous." Mark says

"Keep reciting Y/n I think it benefits us all," Jeno said, Y/n smiled and continued

"Throughout the event, participants engage in intense battles and challenges, pushing themselves to their limits in order to prove their worth. The goal is to find the object that will allow students to safely return to their school."

"Wait then why were you guys talking about dragons?" Jaemin said looking at the 3 boys

"If you let Y/n continue you would know," Haechan said he nudged Y/n to make her speak. Y/n glared at him but started speaking again

"However, this task is not easily accomplished, as students must first navigate through the territory of fearsome dragons in the Alerian Mountains."

"Oh" that was all that Jaemin said

"Wait, did your old school not participate in the Restoration? But that's weird... almost every school is required to register-" Y/n's mom said as she stood in the kitchen but was cut off by Jaemin

"I was homeschooled" Jeamin smiled awkwardly

"Well, Jaemin are you staying for dinner?" Y/n's mother said with a smile

"Oh no, but thank you I have to get to Yujun and give her these." He said as he held the folder starting to get up from the couch to leave.

"I'll walk you out," Mark said

"This is just great, all of them are now involved with Selis," Yeona said

"Honey did you ever stop to think that maybe this is for the better" The ruler of angels said as he was looking over the paperwork that was handed in by one of the angels

"Better? Dad they're going to attack their own kind-"

"Y/n is human, Haechan is human, Jeno is human, Yeona all of them are human they are only doing what they need to survive." The angel that was standing next to the ruler of angels said

"Stay out of this Baekhyeon-" Yeona snapped at him

"Yeona watch how you speak to your older brother. And he's right they humans they can do nothing to go back." The ruler said

"What do you mean they can become vampires again right? All they need is to be bitten-" Yeona was cut off

"They can't because if they do they die. They were remade under one condition they will never turn back into what they once were." Yujun said as she walked into the room

"What? Dad you lied to the ruler of demons" Yeona said in disbelief

"Well, it seems they have already found out and sent that grim reaper to find them and bring all of them back," Yujun said

"Baekhyeon, you will go and replace Jinyoung as Y/n's guardian angel," Their father said

"But- What about me dad," Yeona complained

"I'm not stopping you from going to visit." Her father said

"You know that is not what I mean Dad. You told me I could be a guardian angel again once of their guardians gave up." Yeona said

"Exactly, Gave up not replaced." Yeona groaned and stormed off

"Baekhyeon, keep a close eye on Y/n and the others... I want them to live a peaceful life" Baekhyeon nodded and walked out followed by Yujun

"Dragon Skin?" Jeno said as he watched Y/n water the flowers that she had planted in front of the house

"Dragon Scales" She corrected him

"Why?"

"Protection," She stood up "It can be fireproof"

"Can but it is not proven Y/n plus last year's kept us safe just fine," Jeno stated crossing his arms

"Really? So who is the one who came back with his suit almost completely destroyed to the point you were basically shirtless and wearing shorts." Y/n said

"She's got a point we can try there is nothing wrong with trying something new," Mark said as he walked out of the house

"See he agrees now just send it, my dad will receive it," Y/n said

Jeno just sighed all 3 of them were about to walk into the house when they heard something walking toward them. Mark turned around and walked toward the sound. Y/n pulled his arm to get inside when she saw something red glowing from the bushes.

"What was that?" Jeno said as they entered the house

"I don't know," Mark said walking toward the kitchen to get water. They both looked at Y/n who had become pale.

"They looked like eyes."
