~Chapter 3~

The entire gladiatorial ring thundered with the roar of thousands of Cybertronian packed into the stands, their metallic frames gleaming under the harsh arena lights. The air vibrated with energy and anticipation, the clamor of voices merging into an electrifying symphony of excitement. They were all here for two reasons, to see Megatronous, the undefeated champion whose name alone commanded respect, and to witness the debut of a new contender whose reputation had already begun to spark whispers across Kaon's streets: Trigona.

The name alone carried weight. Some spoke of her with admiration, others with skepticism. How could a newcomer rise so quickly to the grand stage? But what most didn't know was that she wasn't just another eager fighter clawing her way into the pit. She was his student, the one trained by Megatronous himself.

Inside the dimly lit changing chamber, Trigona stood motionless before a reflective alloy panel that served as a mirror. The harsh white lights overhead revealed every contour of her sleek orange and yellow plating. In her servo, she gripped a long Energon forged sword, its blade humming faintly with residual energy. The weight of it felt strange, heavier than it should. Not because of its mass, but because of what it represented.

This moment... she had dreamed of it her entire life. The arena. The roar of the crowd. The chance to carve her name into Cybertronian history.

But now that she was here, standing in the silence before the storm, her spark pulsed harder than it ever had.

'You've trained for this, Trigona' She reminded herself, adjusting her grip on the weapon.

'You've bled for this. You belong here.'

A sudden pounding rattled the door, breaking through her thoughts.

BANG. BANG. BANG.

"Yes?" she called out, her voice calm though her spark throbbed faster.

"You ready?" came the deep, commanding tone from the other side. She didn't need to hear it twice to know who it belonged to.

Megatronous.

Her mentor. Her inspiration. The very reason she stood here.

A small smile tugged at her lips as the door slid open, revealing the towering figure of the gladiator king himself. His dark silver frame gleamed under the light, blue optics burning with pride and power. But while looking at her, he gave her a small smile.

"Yes, sir. I'm ready," Trigona answered firmly, stepping toward him.

I'm ready," Trigona answered firmly, stepping toward him

"Good." He gave a single approving nod before turning and leading the way down the metallic corridor. The walls vibrated faintly from the thunderous chants outside, "Me-ga-tronous! Me-ga-tronous!" It was almost deafening.

They reached the massive gate at the end of the hall, the threshold that separated obscurity from glory. Megatronous stopped there, his broad shoulders blocking the light spilling through the cracks in the steel doors. He turned to face her, blue optics locking with hers.
