Chapter 29

~Chapter 29~

Jack and Arcee were currently walking through Kaon. The keycard was glowing brighter, they knew they were getting closer to they're destination: Vector Sigma.

Jack held up the keycard and moved it around until it grew even brighter towards the right, inside a coliseum with Megatron's statue on the entrance way.

"We must be close," Jack stated. Arcee followed behind him without question.

As they walked farther into the coliseum, the ground began to rumble and shake, even a loud metal grinding sound echoed across the walls.

Arcee's guard was up, thinking it was an attack, until the keycard glowed even bright, almost like a star then the metal plates in front of them began to crack, pillars cracked and crumbled to the ground. 

As the ground continued to shake and rumble, more plates cracked and broke up; What came out from under the ground shocked both Jack and Arcee. It was large underground entrance.

It was the entrance to Vector Sigma. 

When they walked closer to the doors of the entrance, the designs on it glowed blue and opened, sensing the keycard near by.

"Vector Sigma's down here?" Jack asked.

Arcee answered, "Kaon didn't always belong to the Decepticons. Megatron took it as their capital. Apparently without ever realizing what ley beneath their feet."

Suddenly, metal pieces were tumbling off the top of the entrance. They both looked around until Arcee looked up. An Insecticon was on top of it. It jumped down, screeching at them. 

Arcee grabbed Jack and rolled out of the way as it landed, trying to attack them. Arcee placed Jack down and started firing at the Insecticon. 

The blaster fire didn't do anything to the Insecticon, it took them like it was nothing. It then looked at both of them until it spotted Arcee's Autobot insignia on her wing. It screeched loudly and attacked Arcee, throwing her back away from Jack.

The Insecticon pushed Arcee against the wall of the coliseum, knocking the wind out her.

"Arcee!" Jack yelled with concern for his guardian.

The Insecticon looked back at Jack. When it saw the keycard in his hands, it screeched even louder and ran toward Jack. Without hesitation, Jack ran away from the Insecticon, but the con was faster and was right on top of Jack. 

The human ducked his head as the con was about to grab him, but then Arcee attacked the Insecticon and was able to revert it's attention back on her.

She blasted at it and got it to start attacking her again. While it and Arcee were fighting, Jack commed the other Autobots and the other humans on what was happening.

"We're being attacked by some kind of giant bot beetle!"

":An Insecticon!:" Ratchet answered. Then June, Jack's mother spoke, ":A what?!:" 

":What are Decepticons doing on Cybertron?:" Raf asked, ":A few remained in stasis, sentries, should the enemy return.:"

Arcee jumped on the pillars to get higher ground as she continued firing at the Insecticon. She jumped off the pillar when it fired back. When she landed, she transformed into her motorcycle mode and drove off, the Insecticon ran at her like an animal.
