~Chapter 38~

It had been a little over a week and Trigona was back to her healthy self, Megatron made her SIC again. Dreadwing and Skyquake were happy to give the title back to her. She respected Dreadwing and Skyquake, not just for their loyalty but for their strength for each other.

She saw how close they were, not just as soldiers, but brothers. They did everything together, wherever Dreadwing went, be it on a mission, to get energon, do a task, Skyquake was there with him. Trigona saw this every day. It caused her to feel something within her spark that she didn't want. It was some type of emotion, but she remembers her master's words about emotions.

She grabbed her sword again, feeling it. Just to make sure it's still there, even though she goes nowhere without it. It's been a few days since Dreadwing and Knockout asked her about her relationship with Jointbreak.

~...~

"What was your relationship with Jointbreak to where you're this angry just from his name?"

Trigona looked up at Dreadwing, Skyquake, and Knockout, who were waiting for her to answer their question. She reached down to her father's sword which was not on her hip. She gripped the handle and rubbed her thumb against the hilt.

"He was once my partner on the battle field. But he betrayed me." That was all she said before she left the room.

When she walked out, she began walking toward her berthroom. The moment she walked in, she locked her door. She placed her servos and helm against her door. Slowly, she slid down to the floor. The moment she hit the floor, her shoulders started shaking, a small whimper left her.

Tears were falling down her cheek plates. Her whimpers turned into quiet sobs.

"J-Jointbreak.... why.... why did you leave me..."

~...~

She felt her optics starting to water again, she quickly wiped them away and took a deep breath.  It's a been a hard few days for her since that meeting with Dreadwing and Knockout. She's never liked remembering that certain time of her life during the war.

Trigona continues to hide her emotions, but when she's in her berth room or somewhere private, she lets them go.

As she was walking down the halls, heading to the main bridge from her berth room, but as she was walking, she could a faint pounding sound. She walks toward where the sound was coming from. When she gets a hallway that splits, she looks down the hall. What she sees shocks beyond anything in her life.

Bulkhead?! On top of a dead Starscream?!

What is happening. She sees Bulkhead stand up and look at his servos as if he just did something that was horrible, almost like he's never taken a life before. She smirks and steps out, without him noticing.

She leans against the wall, crosses her arms and continues to look at him. "How interesting..." Bulkhead jumped in fear and turned around the face the owner of the voice. He froze when he saw Trigona.

"T-Trigona." The said con pushed off the wall and began walking toward him. "The one and only..." she looks down at the deactivated Starscream. "Poor little thing..." She kneels down and inspects the damage on him then looks back up at Bulkhead.

"You put some good hits on him... What are you doing here?" Bulkhead stands his ground and glares at her. She crosses her arms again, waiting for a response. "I'm not telling you anything." Trigona rolled her optics and sighed. "Fine, see if you can get off this ship by yourself, full of trained soldiers. And don't come crying for help when Megatron spots you."
