Chapter 30

~Chapter 30~

The Decepticons have followed one of the coordinates that Orion had found within Project Iacon. Megatron and sent Vehicon troopers and Skyquake to locate the item and find out what it is.

After a few hours of mining, Skyquake sent work to the Nemesis.

":Skyquake to Nemesis.:" Trigona heard the com and went over to the communication console. 

"Skyquake, this is Commander Trigona, have you located the item?"

":Affirmative, Commander.:" Trigona smiled.

"Very good, Skyquake, I shall inform Lord Megatron."

":Very good, Commander, Skyquake out.:"

Trigona turned off the com and turned around to face the command bridge where Megatron was standing.

"Lord Megatron. Skyquake has found the item." Megatron turned to face his commander with a smirk. "Very good. I shall retrieve it personally. Join my, Trigona."

The commander smiled and nodded to her leader and followed him to the flight deck. Once there, they ran toward the edge, jumped and transformed mid-air and flew off toward their destination.

Once they got there, they both transformed and landed. The area was a rocky formation with Vehicon's using mining equipment to move the rocks out of the way, other's were standing guard.

They both looked straight ahead and saw Vehicon's pulling out a small pod from the ground and handing it to Skyquake. 

"Bring it to me, with the utmost care." Skyquake did as ordered and walked toward his leader, gently holding the pod. Trigona took a step forward and touched the top of the pod, it twisted and she took the lid off the pod. She looked inside and her optics widened and the item inside, but before she could Megatron what is was, they all heard a familiar voice.

"Megatron!" 

Every con turned toward the voice and saw Optimus Prime and Ratchet running toward them. 

"I cannot allow you to pilfer Autobot relics!" Optimus and Ratchet stopped just a few feet from Megatron, Trigona, and Skyquake, blaster ready to fire.

Trigona took a step forward with a smirk. "You are greatly misinformed Optimus..." She reached into the pod and gave the relic to Megatron who's optics also widened but then he smirked evilly. "I would strongly advise you to lower your weapons."

Megatron then held up the relic. "Unless you're in the mood for mutually assured destruction."

Shocking everyone, including Optimus and Ratchet.

"It can't be..." Ratchet spoke in disbelief.

Optimus' optics were widened in shock and fear. "The Spark Extractor." 

Other vehicon's surrounded the two Autobots while they still faced the Warlord, Commander, and Seeker.

"Rather unassuming, yet capable of extracting every spark within it's radius." Megatron said will looking at the relic then looked at Optimus. "And to think you led me straight to it Optimus, or should I say, Orion Pax did."

Trigona chuckled a little. "You really should have left your Decepticon shield intact. For you have no idea how useful your code breaking skills proved to be. During our all too brief time together again."
