Chapter 22

In the bridge, inside the Nemesis, Trigona was currently standing behind a vehicon that was looking for any energon readings. But as she was, she heard Soundwave walking up to her. She turned around and saw his screen light up and presented a magnetic flux map. 

Trigona knew what was causing this. She immediately contacted Megatron.

"Lord Megatron. Soundwave has picked up something that I believe you'll be delighted to see."

":Very good Trigona, I'll be there.:" 

"Yes, Lord Megatron." She looked at Soundwave. "Be ready to show this to Lord Megatron." The TIC nodded to her. 

Once they heard the doors to the bridge open, Soundwave immediately walked up to Lord Megatron and showed him his screen of the Magnetic Flux. While Megatron was looking at it, Trigona had commed Breakdown to come to the bridge.

Once he made it, he asked Trigona why she needed him.

"What did you need, Commander Trigona?" Trigona looked up at him. "Soundwave picked up a magnetic flux. I figured this would be the perfect chance for you to redeem yourself to Lord Megatron." 

Breakdown looked at her with shock but then nodded.

"I recognize this magnetic signature Soundwave." Breakdown and Trigona looked over to their master. "And it would be unfortunate to have a Decepticon invention, such as this, used against us." 

Trigona shoved Breakdown forward. He looked at her nervously but she just gave him a thumbs up. He pushed aside his fears and stood up straight. 

"I will secure the weapon, Lord Megatron." Megatron turned to look at Breakdown.

"Breakdown, ha. If you can be bested by mere humans, what chance do you have against the Autobots?" Megatron began walking away. Breakdown looked at Trigona, but she just gestured for him to continue. 

Breakdown took a step toward his master. "Allow me to redeem myself master." Breakdown looked down in sadness and anger. "What I have lost is a constant reminder that I must never again fail you." 

Megatron stopped walking and looked back at Breakdown. He then turned to Trigona was now talking with Skyquake, who had just walked in, because he needed to tell the Commander about some Vehicon's acting up.

"Trigona." The conversation between Skyquake and Trigona stopped. She immediately walked up to her master and kneeled down. 

"Yes, Lord Megatron." Megatron looked down at his commander. "Do you believe Breakdown should go on this mission and retrieve this weapon for me? After his most embarrassing failure against the humans?"

The Commander looked up at her master and then looked at Breakdown. "I believe that if Breakdown wishes to redeem himself to you... I think you should let him, because a soldier driven by the desire to earn back your favor will stop at nothing to prove their worth."

Breakdown looked down at his commander in slight shock at her response. Megatron chuckled and then laughed. "Just what I expected from my commander. Always has her soldier's back." Megatron then looked over at Breakdown. "You have your chance to redeem yourself Breakdown. But if you return to me empty handed..."

Megatron began walking toward Breakdown, who started backing up in fear. "I will tear open your chest and rip your spark out of your chest in front of your very eyes."

Breakdown looked at his master in pure fear. "Y-Yes, Lord Megatron!" Megatron nodded and walked away. Trigona wasn't surprised at her master's threat to Breakdown, but she did think it was a bit much. She then turned to Soundwave.
