Silently rolling up a joint, I kept my eyes focused on fixing it to perfection, ensuring it was secure enough. Day Break by Skeng playing lowly from the speakers of my BMW, I dug for my lighter in my pocket once I was through building my joint.
Bringing it up to my lips, i light it, taking a long first pull before blowing the smoke out.
"Ease up off a the gas pedal likkle because if police pull we over, best believe me a run leff yuh" I say to my younger brother after realizing he was pushing almost 120mph.
He eased up a little and I watched as it dropped to 80.
"Tek the next left" I tell him and he took the next left turn, his eyes staying focused on the road.
Seeing him sit more upright, one hand controlling the steering wheel and the other holding his phone on his lap, i shake my head while taking my leg down to rest on the floor of the car.
Can't even judge him, because when me a fi him age mi did a act the same way... maybe all worse. Been a act older than mi age.

"Talk nuh" i answer after releasing the smoke.

"She style yuh?" I ask, taking another pull as he started laughing to confirm the answer to my question.
