Staring at Tae as she maneuvered around her bedroom, getting herself ready for school, i yawn, shifting a bit in the position I was laid on her bed.
Feel like dem stay-at-home husband deh. Wife a get ready fi work and mi lay down inna bed wrap up inna sheet— swap out work with school.
I've been up with her since 6am watching her get ready.
"I'm leaving school at 3, so I'll probably be home by 4... Mari might get home before me, he might not" she tells me and I hum in response, watching as she checked her Tote Bag to see if she had all that she needs.
"Me a pick him up..." I tell her.
"Oh, okay"
Yawning again, I watch her put the bag to rest on her shoulder before walking over to the side of her bed where I was.
"Later.." she leaned down placing a kiss on my lips.
"Mm, later" I answer after she pulled away and she stood there for a moment staring at me before leaning down again, pecking my lips 3 more times.
"Ew, I love you" she said with her face frowned up and I chuckle.
"Gwaan a school yer.."
Both our smiles seeming stuck on our faces, she placed another kiss on my lips, this one a little longer as I loosely grabbed her neck.
Hearing her hum softly after feeling my tongue brush against hers, she dropped her bag when my other hand moved to her waist pulling her on the bed to straddle my lap.
"Nuh school yah go?" I break the kiss to ask.
Ignoring my question, she gently cupped my face, resuming the kiss trying to press her body as closely to mine.
A loud knock on her room door causes us to quickly pull away as she turn to look at her door already knowing it was Mari.
"Me a leff now.. Mi friend outside" he spoke from behind the door.
"Okay.. later. Mek sure yuh eat before yuh leave enuh" she responds back, her voice loud enough for him to hear.
