Can't even look her inna her face right now.
It's been an hour or two.. mi nuh know, and we haven't said shit to each other.
We not even deh round each other no more. I got up leaving her in my room and have been sitting in the backyard, smoking.
All mi headache come back. 10 times worse.
Wah she mean by see him as a uncle? She better start unsee that shit and nuh mention it back round me.
Realizing I smoked the spliff down to the roach, I kiss my teeth, throwing it out, ensuring to crush it out before going back inside.
Ignoring the throbbing feeling in my head, I walk to the kitchen, grabbing the half drunken bottle of Gatorade I had, finishing it.
Seeing a box of Pricesmart donuts, I open it, noticing there was only 1 left. Probably Zy own.
Taking it and eating it nonetheless, I discard the box. Washing my hands once I was done, I drank some water to help wash the sweetness down before going back upstairs.
Instantly spotting her seated on the floor by bed when I entered my room, I furrow my eyebrows.
Her back pressed up against the bed, knees up to her chest with his head down between them, I could her talking lowly, but I couldn't make out what exactly was being said.
Walking over to her, she quickly lifted her head and I noticed her phone at her ear.
"Sumn wrong wid the bed? Why yuh deh pon the floor?"
"I'm not at school.. I'm at a friend's" she tells whosoever, ignoring me while looking away.
"..no mommy. Ano him... we brokeup"
Walking pass her and picking up my phone from the night stand, I unlocked it, going straight to my call log, typing M and once his name popped up, I press it. Placing the phone to my ear listening to it ring, I kept my eyes focused on Tae.
Bout see as uncle.. never see sumn bun me so yet.
She kept playing with the strings on the shorts she was wearing, explaining to her mother why her and her ex broke up.
"Demon.." Malik's voice connected, humor audible in his tone.
"Fuck off yer" I respond hearing him laugh, childlike giggles in his background making me know he was around his son.
