JUST CREEPIN'

A'JOURIE WRIGHT
AUGUST 17th; SATURDAY

IT HAD BEEN day three since jourie had been to the doctor, and she had just gotten the call for her STD results.

She was so happy that she didn't have anything else besides chlamydia, but she was thinking about going somewhere else to get tested to make sure her condition was true.

She had been holed up at Genesis' house, and she had been looking at him sideways—but she never left or even tried.

Her mothers words just kept circulating in her head. She didn't know if Genesis cheated, but she felt like they could work with the right dedication like her mother and father did.

Things had been slightly awkward between them, because he made her second guess herself. Jourie had always been a pretty girl, and confidence dripped from her pores but she just didn't feel the same way anymore.

She never dressed up anymore, never did her make up, and she lacked self esteem.

Currently though, the girl was in the kitchen making some home made rice crispy treats since she was bored. She liked making them home made because they tasted different in her opinion.

Her phone started ringing on the counter, and it lit up with her mothers contact causing her to smile. She knew her phone was on DND currently so her mother had to have called twice to get through .

She didn't even care though. Kourntey had become her escape from reality for the past few days, and she was happy that she was getting her relationship with her mother back.

She had told her mother that she was going to try to work it out with gensis to see if they would work, of course leaving out the infection she had.

Kourtney didn't want to judge her so she stayed right by her side. She was going to be cheering them on, and if they didn't work she would be the shoulder that jourie could lean on.

Wiping her hands quickly, jourie picked up her phone and answered it with a big smile on her face. "Hey mommy," she greeted instantly.

"Where you at?" Kourtney responded not even bothering to greet her daughter.

Jouries face dropped. She thought the phone call would put her in a good mood but it seemed as if it was about to blow her mood and she could tell.

She knew her mother too well, and the tone in her voice was one of unsatisfactory. Jourie didn't know what she did, but she was sure she would hear about it.

"I'm at home. And what's wrong with you? I ain't did nothing." Jourie responded to her mother, matching her energy.

She couldn't see, but Kourtney was squinting her eyes so much that she could barely see through her eye lashes.

She was so livid right now she couldn't even think straight, but she knew if she let jourie know she was beyond angry she wouldn't come over.

They needed to have the talk face to face.

"I really want to talk to you jourie. Are you busy? Can you come over?" Kourtney tried to calm down, but she swore she felt the hand that was holding her phone literally shaking.

"Umm, it's nothing that I can't put on pause." Jouries palms became sweaty. She was prepared to hear her mom run her mouth over the phone but she obviously wanted to be face to face.

Jourie was so nervous she didn't know what to do so she just told the truth and prayed it wasn't as bad as she thought it was.

All she could think about was what if her parents found out about her having chlamydia or her and bam. She wouldn't dismiss the idea because Sahid may have ran his mouth, and if he did she would have to hear from him.
