JUST CREEPIN'AJOURIE MONTGOMERY
NOVEMBER 23rd, THURSDAYJOUIRE WATCHED SAMARIA on the FaceTime call with her mother Kamaria, as she comfortably sat on the couch with her head resting on the large cussion pillow.
"Okay, and then drag my left leg in, or bring it all the way around and up into the heel stretch?" Samaria questioned. For a moment her mother looked as if she was thinking.
"Just bring the leg up, bringing it all the way around gonna come later in the dance," Kamaria assured her.
It wasn't out of the ordinary for Samaria to coach the dance team at the rec center, but sometimes she got stuck on choreography and her mother ended up having to help her add stuff.
While Samaria was going to school for interior design, she worked at the rec just like bam—except they were in different departments because he worked with the after-school program while Samaria worked with their undefeated majorette team.
Either way, it was a win for both of them, and their checks looked lovely at the end of every week.
"Okay." Samaria nodded. "You gon help me some more later?" She questioned picking up her propped-up phone.
Jourie sat there silently, yawning.
"Yeah girl, but let me go I gotta finish cooking this stuff." Kamaria said with a sigh. She scratched her head, keeping her phone propped on the counter.
"Okay Mommy, we gonna be there in a little." Samaria assured her, sitting next to Jourie, then putting both of them in the camera.
Scrunching her face up, Kamaria grinned. "Damn girl, you look sleepy as fuck. Take a nap before you bring yo lame ass over here."
"Mmcht, girl you stay calling somebody lame." Jourie waved her off with a rasp in her voice.
Samaria and Kamaria said their byes to each other before hanging up. Samaria instantly went to the video of her dancing to Your Love by Nicki Minaj. It would come all together. "Ouuuu I hit 'er from da back I beat 'er doonies downnnn."
Jourie smiled softly, "She said I fuck her good I make her coochie smileeee." Jourie added on. That used to be their favorite song back around Covid time when it was viral.
They always used to sing it. Bam and Sahid wanted to smuggle them with a pillow every time they said it because it was stuck in their head so badly.
"Imma pin her on the wall yeah movie style." Samaria stuck her tongue out, pretending to hump the air. Jourie couldn't wipe the smile off her face.
Jourie started laughing before singing the next lyric. "I'm out here looking for the cat I'm a coochie scout."
Samaria's eyes widened, "You know what, that reminds me we should do that best friend vocabulary trend. We always say shit in code so nobody understand." Samaria pointed out.
"What's that?" Jourie quizzed softly, her face slightly scrunched up at the idea. She hadn't seen that trend so she had no idea what she was talking about.
"It's like where one of us type something on the phone, and then the other person holds the phone. Then after, the person typed it has to be like "Oh we say this when..." and you have to fill in the blanks." Samaria explained.
"The objective is to get all of them right. It's kinda like that game headband we used to play wit bam and nem." She gave a better explanation, and jouries eyes lit up.
