chapter twelve

As i fell, i hit my head to the tile floor. " What ....was that ..... for?", i asked Sara, barely being able to speak smoothly, my head hurt so bad. " Oh, shoot. Jason's coming.", one of her friends told her. She looked at me, then walke away. I was stillon the floor, trying to bare the pain. " Ow.", i muttered. " Mia!", I head Jason exclaim on worry, he knelt down and helped me up. " Mia, your cheek, it's bleeding!", he said very worried. Sara's nail must have scratched me. " It's nothing, justy a scrape from the slap.", i said without thinking. " SLAP?! WHO SLAPPED YOU?! OH, WHEN I FIND THAT PERSON, I'M GONNA-", he started but i cut him off, '' No! Jason.", i said putting my hand on his chest. WOW. It felt bulky, does he work out? I mean, from what i could feel, he had A SIX PACK, wait no, AN EIGHT PACK. WOW!

Jason took me to the nurses off ice where i got a plaster to stop the bleeding. We went through three classes. It went normally, except that Jason was a bit spacey, like he was in deep thought. I don,y like this.

As the bell for lunch rang, i started to pack my bag, but Jas just sat there. I felt a bit angered that he was completely ignoring me. I was about to walk away when he said, " Wait.", " Oh, so you're talking to me now?", i said turning around. " I'm sorry.", he said lowering his head and pouting. DAMN!! HOW COULD I SAY NI TO HIM?! THAT WAS NOT CHEATING! " It's ok.", i said raising hiw head. " Come on let us go to lunch.", i said grabbing his hand. He then held my hand gently in his. I was shocked, then turned around. His hand was on mine. He played wth my fingers, then the inside of my palm, which tickled me, i giggled. Hethen smiled that sexy smile of his, then kissed my hand. And again, i couldn't believe that his lips were against my skin.

JASON'S P.O.V.

As i raised from kissing her hand, she turned her head and said, " Let's go.", i new she was blushing.

We walked to lunch smiling,a we entered the cafeteria, i saw Mia tense up. Was she nervous about something? Was she scared? Why? And who had the nerve to lay a hand on her beautiful face? i wanted to know the answers to these questons. As we went to our usual table, we stopped walking, when we saw a bunch of girls at it.

" Oh, look girls, Mia the bitch is here.", the one who seemed to be the leader of the group said. She had long tar black hair with pink highlights. Wait 'BITCH'?! did she just call Mia, my Mi Mi, a bitch? " Who is she?",i asked Mia quietly. But she just stood there, frightened. I HATED IT!!!! " Hey! Who are you?!", i asked her myself, " Honey, i am HER worst nightmare.", she answered me with an evil smirk on her face. " Why?", i asked her.

CARL'S P.O.V.

I was entering the cafeteria, when i saw everyone's attention concentrated to a particular table. There, i saw Sara, Sonya, and Brit. Oh, no, the only time that they are together is when she planned in hurting someone, really bad. The last time she did that, the girl she beat up ended up with a broken nose, a black eye, and cuts and bruses all over her body.

Who was she gonna beat up this time? I went closer to see what was going on, and i saw her, the same, pretty girl i kissed yesterday. Why was she in trouble? Oh Yeah. I KISSED HER!!!!!!!!!!!! Damn, i forgot, Sara gets pissed off easily. But who's that guy next to her? Oh, that's the new kids. I went over to them to stop Sara.

JASON'S P.O.V.

" Hey!", i heard a guy call out to the girl who was making Mia afraid. He had brown hair, and blue eyes. I gotta admit, he was good-looking. ( No, Jason is not gay).

CARL'S P.O.V.

" Oh, so you came now realizing how stupid you were to break up with me, Carl?", Sara asked. Gosh, she's so annoying!!!!!!!!! " No, what are you doing?", i asked coldly. " Wait, what does Mia have to do with you two breaking up?", the guy next to the girl i kissed, who's name is apparently Mia, asked. " Oh, Jason, you don't know?", Sara answered . "Tell him Mia.",

she continued. I saw Mia look up and gasp.

JASON'S P.O.V.

I felt Mia squeeze my hand ( which she was holding since we left class.) Tell me what? Mia gasped while looking up, and looked like she was about to burst into tears. I DON'T WANT TO SEE HER LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!

MIA'S P.O.V.

I FELT SAD, ANGRY AND LOST. HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO TELL JASON THAT CARL KISSED ME? NO!! I COULDN'T! " JUST TELL HIM AND HE WILL UNDERSTAND.", THE LITTLE ANGEL VERSION OF ME SAID, " NO! LIE, SAY THAT IT WASN'T YOU, OR HE WILL HATE YOU.", THE LITTLE DEVIL SAID. " JUST REMEMBER, IF, HE IS REALLY YOUR FRIEND, HE WILL UNDERSTAND.", THE ANGEL SAID TO ME.

Wow, my sub- conscious was literally talking to me.

I stood there, my eyes watering. 'PLEASE DON'T HATE ME JASON.'was all i thought, before i was about to tell him. " I kissed her.", Carl said loud and clear. I was shocked. I looked at Jason, he was still and he looked angry.

JASON'S P.O.V.

WHAT? HE DID WHAT? KISSED HER?! NO WAY!

I felt so angry, so completely mad! I let go of Mia's hand, and turned to this.. Carl. I looked at him. I couldn't believe it, someone touched her lips, and it wasn't me. His lips and her's. I felt clenched my fists and teeth. " Mia.",step back.", i said, i knew i was going to hit him.
