chapter 28

     DARREN'S P.O.V.

* THAT SAME DAY*

" Come on Mia, eat something.", i said to her as she sat on the couch. Yes, i was at her house. No, we didn't DO anything. I just stopped by this morning to check up on her. " i'm not hungry.", she mumbled. Lately i've been feeling really bad for helping break the two of them up, she's broken. Maybe  i should tell her that Jason was telling her the truth about Shelly and i kissed her that night so Jason would break up with her.

" Um......... Mia, i have.... to tell you something. That night, about two weeks ago when Jason and you broke up...it.... it was me and Shelly's fault. We set you two up. He was telling the truth about Shelly and the gangsters. She paid those guys to pretend to beat her up at the same time Jason would be passing by. And..... the reason i was there was to kiss you at the exact moment he would walk in. Mia......i...... i don't  know what to say... i guess...... i'm sorry.... i shouldn't have done that.... i'm so sorry, i thi=ought that if you two were broken up then i could win you over, but that didn't work.... i can see now that you are in love with him more than i knew, and i feel so.... absolutely..... horrible to have done that. I'm sorry.', i explained to her.

She stared at me with tears in her eyes. I felt a wave of imence guilt hit my like a baseball bat in the face. she got up and closed her eyes, trying to hold back the tears but failed. " You..... you what?', she asked in a whisper. Tears gushed from her eyes. " You mean.... you and Shell are the ones responsible for this?", she asked looking up with anger and sadness. " Yes.", i said then gulped as she came up to me. She had a deadly look in her eyes.

SLAP.

My cheek stung. I looked at her, she was about to break into tears. Edging near to her, i was about to wrap my arms around her when she move way. Then she started yelling and crying.

JASON'S P.O.V.

I got to Mia's house panting from running. I listened and heard Mia yelling ans sobbing.

" How could you?! You set us up?! You sided with Shelly....... to get jason ........and i to....to break up?!........ I ........I hate you! I thought you were.....m..... my friend! I trusted you! You stabbed me in the back!.... Darren why?! Why?...... i thought you actually cared for me....... but i was mistaken.", she said stopping to sniff or sob.

Going up to the door, i heard Darren speak, " Mia please, just... please, let me explain..... i do care for you, i just did it wrong, I shouldn't have done that. aim sorry. please, if you cold... then please... please.... please try to forgive me, that's all i ask.  Please. Please.", he begged. She sobbed louder.  I peeked through the window and saw them standind far away from eachother. Her face was soaked with tears. She looked like she would collapse any minute.

I stepped into the house and went over to her and hugged her.  Darren let out a sigh then left, but before he did, he mumbed, " I'm sorry."

I closed my eyes and held Mia in my arms, allowing her to cry as much as she wanted.

" Jason?', she asked looking up at me with puffy eyes. " It's ok. Just let it out babe.", i said. " I'm sorry i didn't believe you.", she saidbiting her lip. " I'm sorry too. I should have been....", i trailed off. Her grip on me tighteden.

" I love you Mi Mi.", i said and surprisingly, a tear slipped from my eyes, i finallly had her back.

My girl.

My Mia.

My girlfriend.

My love.

She was MINE and mine ONLY.

And nothing can change that. I loved her and she loved me.

We were soul mates.

We were ment to be.

I'll never let her go. NEVER.

I will love her, ALWAYS.

I will fight for her no matter what.

i love her. And i will continue to love her no matter what. Even if i have to go to hell and back.

We are together.

Forever.

MIA'S  P.O.V.

I felt complete.

Safe.

There was no doubt in my mind that i loved him.

I loved him sooooooooo much.

Never have i loved someoe so much in my life.

I stayed there in his arms thinking of how lucky i was to have met him. I gave him a peck on the lips and he smiled. " Marry me.", Jason said and a gasped in shock. " What?", i asked him.

  " Marry me Mia.", he repeated.

And of course, i said yes.

And they lived happily for the rest of thier  lives.
