Chapter 13 - Commitment

"Y/n can we talk?" Felix took a step forwards towards me, reaching his hand out.

"What is there to talk about?" I asked, carefully packing away my iPad, making a mental note to buy a notepad or something for the future.

"Us? We know you've been busy but-"

"But you're avoiding us." Minho cut him off as he walked over, standing next to Felix. I felt a bit cornered, rubbing the back of my neck as I stood up.

"Yea, I have. I needed some space, to think about things and prepare for this. Which by the way you could have told me about..." I gestured towards them "this."

"We didn't want you to see us differently and start acting like, not yourself." Minho frowned a little, running his fingers through his sweaty hair.

Felix still had that sad puppy look on his face, and I really did feel bad for him. "Please stop avoiding us y/n... I-" Felix stopped talking when Minho elbowed him in the side, which only earnt him a glare. Felix turned his attention back to me, taking my hands and pulling me closer. "I like you, I really care about you, as a friend and maybe even more. You became our best friend... do you think I would have risked that for just some sex?"

I looked away from him, hiding my red face. The sudden confession had caught me slightly off guard. I was suddenly starting to feel bad for assuming that just because Minho was being an ass about it, Felix would too.

Minho rolled his eyes, letting out a scoff as his arms drooped slightly "Felix, you don't even do relationships."

Felix looked like he wanted to say something, and he didn't back down this time. "That's not true-... I can do them I've just chosen not too.." he turned to look back at me "I don't want to lose you, please y/n.. even if you do want to keep it strictly friends."

I just looked up at him, pulling my bottom lip between my teeth. "I'm sorry, Felix. I didn't mean to shut you out... I like you too." I responded, finally confessing my feelings to at least one of the boys.

Minho's face seemed to flash with jealousy, the way his jaw clenched and then quickly unclenched. I thought I was almost imagining it. Felix had a smile on his face, although it was probably best to talk more about it all later. "We should talk about this all in more detail later.. but we need to go before lunch is over." He suggested, taking my hand and leading me towards the door. "You coming Leeknow?"

Minho shook his head, watching us leave the practice room. Felix had placed a kiss on the back of my hand before letting go, remembering he was in fact working and I was just interning. We headed down to the cafe, eating with the rest of the boys.
