Grey: "You required a blood donation. The doctor found out that you have a twin sister."

Lucy: "What! No way."

Grey: "We didn't know your twin sister so the doctor did a DNA test. We know who you sister is."

Lucy: "Who? Is she waiting in the waiting room?"

Grey: "No she isn't. Your sister is Angela Lopez."

Lucy: "Nooo!"

Grey: "She wanted me to tell you that she is sorry for being a bitch and that she understand that you'll hate her forever. And finally, she promises to stay out of your life. She didn't want to hurt you more so she said that she'll stay out of your life."

Lucy: "I don't know how I feel about this."

Grey: "I know, she is honestly beating herself up right now with how she treated you."

Lucy: "But she saved my life."

Grey: "She wanted to help."

Angela went straight home after the hospital. She got into bed and cried. She barely slept all night. The next day she didn't show up for work. So Tim, Nyla, John and Jackson all headed over to her place. Nyla used her key.

Nyla: "Ang, where are you?" They search the house when.

Tim: "In here. Boots, stay at the front door. Ang are you okay?"

Angela (crying): "Because I'm a horrible person."

Tim: "No your not."

Angela: "Yes I am. I was a complete bitch towards Lucy and now I find out that she is my twin sister."

Nyla: "What? Why aren't you with her now?"

Angela: "Because I told Grey to tell her the truth. Please tell her that I'm sorry and that I understand that she'll hate me forever. And finally, I promise to stay out of her life."

Tim: "Ang, you need to talk to her."

Angela: "I can't, she won't want to deal with me."

Nyla: "Oh Ang, give her time." They both hug and comfort Angela.

A few weeks go by, Lucy gets to return to work. She called her dad about a twin and he told her the story, Lucy still couldn't believe it. Everyone went to visit Lucy to check on her, except Angela as she couldn't bring herself to see Lucy. Lucy arrived at work ready to work, she was welcomed back.

In roll call, she looked at Angela. Angela turned around, when she saw Lucy she turned to face the front again. Angela kept her promise, making sure that she wasn't around Lucy, she still couldn't forgive herself for what she has done. 

Nyla: "Lucy, are you going to talk to her?"

Lucy: "I want to but she will just leave again ... I have an idea. What if I ask Grey to assign her to me."

Nyla: "That could work." Lucy headed to Grey's office.

Grey: "Hi Detective, how can I help you?"

Lucy: "Could you assign Lopez to me tomorrow? Please don't tell her she is assigned to me."

Grey: "I can, but why?"

Lucy: "She is miserable, I can tell she isn't okay and I want to talk to her. She is my sister after all."

Grey: "Okay, I'll make sure you have an office tomorrow so you can talk." Lucy left.

The next day, Lucy was in the office waiting while roll call was on.

Grey: "Lastly, Lopez you are assigned to the detectives today. Please go to office ***. Dismissed." Everyone leaves.

Nyla: "Now let's see how this goes, let's hope Lucy knows what she is doing."

Tim: "I hope they talk, Angela is really down about everything." They head on patrol. Angela walks to the office.

Angela: "Good morning, I was told I'm assigned to the detectives today." She closes the door, Lucy lets a deep breath out before revealing herself. When Angela turns she sees Lucy, then heads for the door.

Lucy (softly): "Hey, please stay. Come have a sit." Angela sits down.

Lucy: "Thank you."

Angela: "No, I should be apologising for the way I have treated you. I was cruel and shouldn't have treated you like that."

Lucy: "It's okay, I would have done the same if I was in your shoes. I have been treated worst than what you were treating me."

Angela (tears forming in her eyes): "I can't forgive myself for what I have done."

Lucy: "I forgive you, okay. I need you to forgive yourself, you can't keep beating yourself up about it."

Angela: "Okay, I'll try. One thing, how did you make detective so quick?"

Lucy: "I had to work ten times harder than anyone else just to prove myself. Beside, it wasn't always glamours."

Angela: "What do you mean?"

Lucy: "I can't tell you. No one ever believes me about it anyway."

Angela: "I will believe you, please could you share."

Lucy: "Okay. The captain at one of my old stations, he umm got handsy. He would touch me inappropriately and tell me that I only got detective because of him."

Angela: "Omg, did you tell anyone?"

Lucy: "I tried but no one would listen and would believe that he did it." Angela gets up and walks around the desk, Lucy looked up to see her arms open. The girls hug each other.

Angela: "You have had a hard life, while I got an easy life. I would love to get to know you more and be apart of your life."

Lucy: "I would love that too. I guess you have met my daughter."

Angela: "I have and she is incredible, you have done well."

Lucy: "Thanks, I would love you to be apart of her life. No one else knows about her yet besides you and Grey. I heard that you want to be a detective, I could help you study for the upcoming test."

Angela: "I do but I don't think I'm ready."

Lucy: "I want to put your name forward for the up coming test, because I know you are ready. For the next two weeks, you can work with me to help you prepare."

Angela: "Okay." They go to Grey office and put Angela's name for the detective exam.

Grey: "So are you two good or something?"

Angela: "Yeah we're getting there." They leave.

Lucy: "You go out for lunch and I'll stay here."

Angela: "No way, you're coming with me." They walk out to the food truck.
