They were frantically running away from the cliff, trying to find a way out of the forest. Sid finally saw daylight yet again. The sun seemed to be setting.
They ran out of the forest and looked around with panic. They were searching for any places they could use as landmarks to try and find a familiar path home- they had no idea where they were.
What was with them? They knew this town, Collardale was their home. Why couldn't they remember where they were?
Sid ran around, and spotted two people walking down a sidewalk. They ran up to the two- a cat who was white and brown, and what seemed to be a brown mouse-bunny? Sid didn't want to be rude.
Sid: Excuse me,-
Sid asked. The two then stopped and seemed strangely surprised.
Sid: Do- do you know where the Collardale Library is? I'm a bit lost and need directions
They asked, knowing if they could get to the library, they could find their way home.
Person 1: Oh, yeah, uhm- hm, let me think-
The unidentifiable creature thought. He seemed to be what was called a “jerboa,” Sid realized.
Person 1: It's that way, and then you want to take a couple lefts and walk straight
He pointed to the left of him, the right from Sid's view.
Sid: Thank you, really. I can't seem to find my way around right now, I really, really appreciate it
Person 1: No problem, helping people out is always what I try to do
Sid started heading towards where he pointed, to which he called out:
