Today is the day for the finalization of our codes per subject, so we're gonna know sinong magiging kaklase namin for this semester. Yesterday was just the opening and orientation.

Akala ko pa naman what happened yesterday will remain yesterday, but this girl is really haunting me. I bet she will make my school life hell.

We were staring at each other longer than I anticipated, may dumi ba sa mukha ko? Her eyes are really glued to my face, siguro pinapatay na ako sa utak nito. scary.

Suddenly the people around us moved back to their places, kaya naman pala kasi when I turned around I saw Mrs Augustine entering

I glance at the crowd in front of me, halos lahat ng chairs ay may naka-upo na. I realized na wala pala akong kilala ni isa sa kanila. I looked back at the girl beside me, maybe we have the same thought, I can see her look of disappointment when she saw na the only chairs available are behind, at magkatabi pa. hay, may mas ikalala pa ba 'tong araw na ito?

She was just stuck there kaya I decided to move first, bahala siya.

"Miss Sevilla, aren't you gonna sit?"

I heard Mrs. Augustine asking her

Umupo na ako at I decided na hindi ko nalang siya papansinin.

She slowly sat beside me and I can see her in my peripheral vision, arms together at nagtataray.

"And to start this day, you're gonna introduce....."

Self introduction, basic. I said to myself.

Nanlaki ang mata ko and I know we had the same reaction when I faced her, wow parang kamatis si ate mo gurl.

Imagine her face na may lumalabas na usok sa ilong at tenga. Yes, that's how furious she is.

"But Ma'am!" She shouted standing up, na ikinagulat naming lahat "I mean..." She faked a cough shifting her voice to a calmer tone bago nagpatuloy "Mrs. Augustine, we don't know anything about each other, so I think it's impossible..." She did her best to bring the realest smile

"Plas..." *Fake coughs* "tic..." -ako

Tiningnan niya ako ng may inis "what did you say?!" angil niya

"Ehem, Miss Sevilla you may now take your seat, and thank you for interrupting me because it gave me the idea that yes you are correct hindi niyo pa kilala ang isa't-isa kaya naman, I'll let you get to know your seat mate for a...week"

"Po?!" Sabay naming reaksiyon

"Oh yes yes, tama kayong dalawa a week is a bit shorter, let's make it your final performance, kaya naman this whole semester you'll be together, and every task and performances ay magsasama kayo, you'll be each others partner for the rest of the sem and your final exam will be introducing your partners."

Magsasalita pa sana siya so I grabbed her arms "gusto mo bang magsama tayo habang buhay sa pag-aangal mong 'yan?"

"But don't worry class, ang subject na ito ay hindi naman araw-araw."

Agad naman siyang napa-isip at tumahimik nalang.

"For now, let me get your names individually, let's start with that." Anunsiyo ni Ma'am.

I just sighed. Lutang lang ako the whole class. What could get any worse?

When her time was done may pinahabol pa si Ma'am.

"Since our class is scheduled MWF, you'll pass a report about what did you do about each other....I mean what did you do with each other, ano ba 'to hahahaha" my classmates were laughing too pero oh my gosh I don't have the energy to laugh anymore, "what I'm trying to say is kung anong ginawa niyo na magkasama, it's like a proof na you've really invested time with this task, you'll pass it 4pm through email. That's all for today guys. Good bye."

argh, the situation is getting bad as it gets talaga.

I was about to leave nang biglang bumalik si Ma'am. "And the report will start today!" Sabay alis.

"What?! Aaaaargh, this is your fault!" Inirapan niya ako.

"Anong my fault? eh ikaw nga react ng react eh."

Kuhang kuha talaga niya ang inis ko, grabe. Ang lakas ng loob manisi! The audacity

"Bakit naman hindi, so what papayag ka nalang na maging mag partner tayo?!" She rolled her eyes at nang may nakita siyang dumaan she tried to grab her with a hint of desperation "hey I know you! We're schoolmates before right? Gusto mo bang maging partner ako?" She then smiled sweetly

The other girl slowly took her hands off her arms "ah-eh, I'm sorry, partner ko kasi best friend ko eh" she said politely

"Best friend mo pala eh, hindi mo ba want to get to know others? Ako nalang—" I can't afford to stay quiet, kaya naman I interrupted her.

"I apologize for wasting your time, it's okay, you can go now.." I gave her a smile assuring her na she's good to go.

"Who are you to interrupt me?!"

"I am Joan, your partner."
