Joan was quiet for a moment, then suddenly something came up on her mind "Hey Shi.." She opens her mouth to continue, but then hesitates, closing it again as a wave of uncertainty washes over her

"Hm?" Shiloh looked at her curiously, sensing that something has shifted in her demeanor "what is it Jo?"

Joan bit her lower lip, after a moment of her inner turmoil, she finally gathers her thoughts "paano mo..."

"H-How did you find out you liked Gia?"

Shiloh plastered a full smile, upon realizing what her question was.

"I-I mean na curious lang! Alam mo best friend ko si Gia at hindi ko lang akalain na ano...pero ano, kasi ano..., akala ko ano" Naiilang siyang ngumisi habang nagkakamot sa ulo

"Ano nga kasi Jo ano" pang-aasar ni Shiloh dito "ba't mo gustong malaman ha? ha? ha?" Dagdag pa ni Shiloh na mas lalong nagpa-praning sa isang dalaga

"Eh bakit bakit? bawal ba at tsaka bakit ka bading ha? inaano ba kita?" She said defensively trying to change the topic

"HAHAHAHAHA!"

"OH EH BAKIT KA TUMATAWA?"

"Jo hahahaha you should've have seen your face!"

"nyenye, huwag na nga lang! Kainis to!" pikon na hinila ni Jo ang sako at padabog na pinulot ang mga natitirang basura sa kabilang banda ng gym.

Shiloh shook her head at sumunod kay Jo

"Jo, hoy, I'm just teasing you"

"Sorry na hahaha ikaw naman kasi, ang pikon, ba't ka naman napipikon? siguro..." Bago paman makapagpatuloy si Shiloh sa sasabihin niya ay tiningan siya ni Joan ng masama "hehe heto na nga eh, I'll answer your question na..."

Jo suddenly put everything she was carrying down at umupo sa sahig, hindi naman obvious na talagang curious siya eh no

"sige, sabi mo eh...charot, but it's not about what I think, it's about what I felt and what I'm feeling. It doesn't need high intellect Jo, or arguments, or anything complex, it only takes three deep breaths and a question, "Do I love this girl more than my eyelashes?"

Jo paused trying to take everything in, not hanging on the side humors Shiloh is throwing

"And I do, Jo. I love her. I love her that everything didn't matter, aba I never imagined matali sa mani pero here I am and I'm loving it AHAHAHSHAHA!"

"Hahahaha jokes aside" she sighed and it didn't take any math equations for Jo to know that it was a sigh of love "kapag tinitingnan ko si Gia, I mean, I looked at her once, twice, thrice— yes, it took me multiple glimpses to realize that I don't want to steal glances at her anymore, what I want is to gaze at her longer, look her in the eyes and admire her to my heart's content at alam kong hindi lang ako ang may gusto 'nun Jo, I've seen how others looked at her and I didn't want to step back just because I am a girl."

Jo was silent after hearing that, but the silence didn't last longer when it was broken by the sound of steps slowly coming near them, it was Gia and Sabrina.

"Hey Jo" bati ni Gia ng papalit na ito sa kanila, after saying that she went straight to Shiloh and closed the gap between them with a hug "hey pretty" she greeted her sweetly

Leaving Sabrina and Jo standing there and watching them lovingly.

They both smiled on the view in front of them, Sabrina stood next to Jo and gave her a gentle nudge on the shoulder

Startled by the unexpected touch, Jo meets Sabrina's gaze

Sabrina smiled before saying "hi din sayo, pretty."
