( a little note : hello everyone, its been a long while, at least that is what it feels like to me, in the time to come there wont be a update every month, or maybe there will, i don't know yet. that is because my grandfather where i regularly stayed with suddenly passed away, he was brought to the hospital just before the new year and just two days after new year he passed. this has been a tough time for my mother's family and we all just didn't feel like doing anything. this is why i didn't work on the next chapters because as you all might know i make multiple chapters in one go and publish them later, as i said this wont be the case for a little while until my family and i have given it a place. thank you for reading this little rant and i hope you still enjoy this chapter i made months ago in advance.)

Stand fast! Secure the riggin'!" then you hear a mermaid speaking as she saved a guy from the sinking ship "look! he is breathing" but before the man could fully regain consciousness the mermaid dove in the water because she heard someone coming towards them. "Eric!" ('aah so that is his name...not that truly care but still...but wait why does this seem so familiar') The guy named eric looked at his aid "A girl...rescued me... She had the most... beautiful voice..." ('i mean..sure?') the mermaid crawled on a rock "My heart...Oh, how it pounds!" ('girl please you just met..not even that...but then again i am not in the position to say anything about it as long as you don't claim it as 'Love ' it should be fine') "Yes. I know it. the day will soon come...Part of your world!" ('i shouldn't have jinxed it') two eels looked at the girl and laughed...
you opened your eyes and sighed "yes of course..first a castle then a savanna.. this time a god forsaken sea what is next? a dessert?" you noticed that grim was not in the room with you so you when down stairs "Mrrrghrow... The trick to tests...is if there's two choices...it's a trick question... *Snore*" you giggled "someone studied all night" Grim basically jumped out off his skin "MYAH! Don't surprise me like that. You'll make me forget everything I memorized! Today's the last day of final exams, y'know. You and I are still technically one student put together, so you better not tank my grades, Y/n" you rolled your eyes "only our practical exams are as one student, the theoretical exams are separate Grimmy " Grim rubbed the back of his head "oh yeah" you shook your head "come on lets eat breakfast and then go to the exams"
Classroom
Professor Crewel stood in front of the class "The test is over, whelps. Put your pens away and hand over your answer sheets like good little dogs. And with that, I do believe exams have come to a close." everyone (except you) stood up and cheered "YEAAAH!" Professor Crewel frowned "Down! SIT! Don't start celebrating yet. Any bad boys who fare poorly in their exams... you of course as well Miss Vale ...will be given mandatory remedial lessons over the winter holidays. Consider yourself warned. Class dismissed." you nodded and stood up to walk with Ace and Deuce.
Ace stretchend "Whew, FINALLY. It's over!" Deuce nodded "I gave it my absolute best. All that's left now is to wait for our scores to come back." Grim laughed "Myah hah hah! No lousy test is a match for my brilliant mind." you rolled your eyes knowing full well he waited to learn the night before the test. Ace smirked at the two "Really? You guys usually look like your lives just flashed before your eyes after written exams. Now you're changing your tune?" Grim smiled "Heh heh. You bet your bottom thaumark I am. Today marks the dawn of a new and improved me!
You better be ready, 'cause soon you'll all be callin' me "Galaxy Brain Grim" and beggin' for scraps of my knowledge." Deuce shook his head but then smiled "That's a bold claim, but I'm pretty confident in my performance this time myself. No offense, but I'm definitely gonna outscore you." Ace raised his eyebrow to his friend "Says the guy who's perpetually biting his lip and barely staying above a falling grade. Of course, this test was a piece of cake for me, so I'm pretty sure I'm gonna come out on top." you almost laughed out loud but was able to push it down "well you all must have studied hard then" Ace shrugged with a smirk "Pretty much, yup! This's baby-tier stuff." Deuce shrugged "Anyway, exams are done and dusted. I'm gonna hit up the Track Club." Ace nodded at Deuce's statement "Y'know, I could stand to get in some exercise at the Basketball Club myself. Let's break this huddle for today, guys." Grim looked at you "Let's head back to the dorm, Y/n. I'm dead on my feet after that all-nighter." you shook your head "sorry grim i have to help Professor Crewel with something, i will see you at the dorm" the boys looked at you "what do you need to help him with" you shrugged "i don't know but he has done so much for me so its only common courtesy to help him if he ask for it " then you all went your own way
