I am running out of options. If Zestial himself cannot fix my microphone, then who would be powerful enough to do so? Too many people know about my weakened state now. It is bound to get out into public knowledge sooner or later, and when it does...

A large explosion sounds behind me, knocking everyone out of their chairs except for me. I stand up and face that same wall that always gets blown open.

"Oh Alastor!" Comes an obnoxious voice, followed by even more obnoxious and maniacal laughter. I roll my eyes. This again.

"Well, if it isn't the demon who's as useless and frivolous as the modern technology he represents." I say, stepping out of the hotel through the hole that got blown up. This would be a very nice time to be able to summon my microphone, but of course, I can't do that.

"What I represent is the future, while you're an old man, stuck in the past, too scared to admit that his era has passed."

"The era of radio will never pass. But of course, you're too block headed to know that! Ha ha ha!" I say back with a smirk. Defeating Vox is easy if you know what buttons to push and you have enough time. Get him angry enough and he'll short circuit himself. Unfortunately, I have a feeling I won't have much time right now.

"SHUT UP! You embarrassed me in front of all of hell with that little stunt you pulled when you took over my show, so now, I'm going to take over your radio station and let everyone know just how quickly and disgracefully you were defeated by Adam. Let's see how tough everyone thinks The Radio Demon is when they know that he fled from his fight like an injured little pup."

No. Vox knows. He knows, and that most likely means that those other degenerate partners of his know. Which means that my timeline to find a solution before it becomes public knowledge just got cut down significantly.

My eye twitches as I quickly consider my options here. Lucifer and Charlie are gone right now, trying to open a portal to heaven, which means that everyone here is going to expect me to defend the hotel. I could, but that will wipe me out for a couple days minimum. At the very least, I could get something out of it though...

Vox surges electricity into the lights in my "On Air" sign on my radio tower, which causes the electricity to short circuit in the whole building.

"Alastor, stop standing there, do something!" Vaggie says angrily.

"I do recall, my dear, that we had made a deal for you to never ask me to deal with television again, and that right there is a television. I'm afraid I'll be sitting this one out."

Vaggie and the others stare at me with dropped jaws.

"Whateva. I'll deal with it myself." Angel Dust says cockily. He pulls out one of his large machine guns.

"Angel, wait!" Husk says but Angel already steps outside and promptly gets zapped by Vox, which I find very amusing. Angel runs back inside.

"You can't take on an Overlord with a gun, dummy." Husk says unamused, yet still trying to console him. I roll my eyes.

"Fine! If you're not going to deal with that psychopath, I'll do it myself!" Vaggie says, clutching her spear and beginning to head out. Nothing would give me more joy than to watch her try and battle Vox and fail miserably, but her one on one fighting skills are nowhere near that of an experienced overlord, and the last thing I need is drama with Charlie now for not protecting her precious girlfriend.

"I wouldn't do that, me dear. Vox is more formidable than he may appear and you are likely to get very injured." I say, grabbing her by the shoulder to stop her. Vaggie shakes me off and turns toward me.
