It had been a whirlwind one month since that fateful encounter, and not a day had gone by without thoughts of him occupying my mind. I found myself eagerly attending every single lecture, not for the subject matter, but in the hope of catching a glimpse of him. However, luck seemed to elude me, as I hadn't seen him since that day.

Despite the absence of my newfound crush, college life had been a series of exciting adventures. Each day felt like a roller coaster ride, full of new experiences and opportunities. From meeting new people to enjoying the solitude of the window seat on the bus, with my favorite songs by Armaan Malik playing in my ears, every moment was a new chapter waiting to be written.

One of the highlights of my college experience so far had been making new friends. I found myself surrounded by a diverse group of individuals, each with their own unique stories and backgrounds. Together, we navigated the ups and downs of college life, forming bonds that I knew would last a lifetime.

Despite the thrill of these new experiences, there was always a lingering sense of anticipation, a hope that each new day would bring me closer to seeing him again. So, with a mixture of excitement and trepidation, I continued to follow my daily routine, eagerly awaiting the moment our paths would cross once more.

~~~
The day got off to a bad start as I had an argument with my mother, putting me in a foul mood. Not wanting to stay at home, I quickly got ready for college and headed to the bus stop.
Approaching the college gates, I spotted my friends, Jiya, Varsha, and Mrunal waiting for me. They greeted me with exaggerated yawns and mockingly pointed at their watches.
"Late again, Sammy?" Jiya teased, her playful tone barely concealing her annoyance.
I shrugged, offering a sheepish smile. "You know me, not a morning person."
Varsha chuckled. "Yeah, we've noticed."
Ignoring their playful jabs, I quickened my pace to catch up with them. Together, we made our way to our classroom, chatting and laughing along the way.
However, our laughter came to an abrupt halt as we reached the classroom door. The professor had already started the lecture, and we had missed the beginning.
Jiya groaned, shooting me a playful glare. "Thanks a lot, Sammy. Now we're stuck standing outside."
I bit my lip, feeling guilty for ruining our morning. "I'm sorry, guys. I'll make it up to you, I promise."
Mrunal grinned, nudging me with her elbow. "Don't worry about it. We'll just have to pay extra attention in the next lecture."
Resigned to our fate, we settled in for the wait, chatting animatedly to pass the time. Despite the setback, I couldn't help but feel grateful for friends who could turn even a missed lecture into a memorable moment.
To be honest, I wasn't even interested in the lectures without him present. What was the point?
~~~

Emerging from the classroom, the professor was followed by a rush of students flooding in, each seemingly in a hurry as if the classroom was about to disappear. My friends smoothly navigated through the crowd, but as I attempted to follow, a sudden obstacle appeared in my path.

With a quick sidestep, I narrowly avoided a collision, and as I looked up, there he was, standing before me. Time seemed to slow down as our eyes met, and a warm sensation spread through me. It was him, the person who had unknowingly occupied my thoughts since our first encounter. A smile crept onto my face, and my heart skipped a beat.

Despite the bustling corridor, for that fleeting moment, it felt like we were the only two people there. But reality beckoned, and I was pulled back when my friend called out to me, breaking the spell. I apologized to him and started to move to the left, but he mirrored my movements, causing a moment of confusion.

Our eyes met again, and he gestured for me to go ahead. I nodded gratefully, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. This unexpected interaction left me exhilarated, and as I entered the classroom, I couldn't help but steal a glance back at him, hoping for another moment to lock eyes.

~~~
While I sat at the bus stop, the memory of our encounter replayed in my mind like a scene from a romantic movie. The way our eyes locked, the subtle smile he gave me—it was all so surreal. Yet, here I was, back to reality, feeling a mix of excitement and embarrassment. I couldn't believe I had actually bumped into him like that.
Lost in my thoughts, a sudden realization struck me like a bolt of lightning. Despite all the time I had spent thinking about him, I didn't even know his name. He was just a mysterious stranger who had captured my attention, leaving me with these strange and undefined feelings. Determined to uncover the mystery, I decided to embark on a mission to find out more about him.
Drawing on my skills from my school days, where I had a knack for gathering information without anyone noticing, I planned my strategy. However, there was one major obstacle—I couldn't confide in my friends. As much as I loved them, I didn't trust them with this delicate mission. I had no idea how they would react, and I didn't want to risk any awkward situations. So, I made a silent vow to trust in fate and let things unfold naturally.
