In his life, the remote control was taken over by his father from the moment he was born, and his father controlled him as he pleased. Being a boy, he had to endure everything. He never had much interest in academics; his curiosity was piqued by practical experiences and observing things. But as a child, he didn't understand much, and his family assumed he wasn't studying, worrying about his future. His parents shared the common belief that if he didn't focus on education, he wouldn't achieve anything in life. The aftermath of his exam results always led to a lecture, and perhaps, he had been subjected to scolding at home almost every day, and it seemed like he had developed a habit of it. Consequently, he had stopped caring.

Many of you might relate to the thoughts that crossed his mind during those times. He couldn't fathom what was going on in his head, how he managed to control his anger. He still couldn't understand whether he simply couldn't do anything about it.

His father was short-tempered, much like many parents of his generation, adhering to the old-school belief that without education, one couldn't achieve anything in life. According to his father, if a person didn't find happiness or peace at home, they would search for it outside. So, he buried all the toxic elements of his household when he was at school, finding a little solace there, despite the fact that school life wasn't easy either. There, he managed to find a bit of happiness amid all his struggles, always striving to remain content.

He often hears his parents say that they faced challenges they hope he will never have to face, which is why they are so strict. Perhaps, at that time, he couldn't express this, but today, he wants to say: parents, he understands. He understands the struggles they faced in an era where technology and knowledge were not as advanced. His father always says to him that if he doesn't focus on education, he won't achieve anything in life; he'll end up begging.

He wishes he could tell his father that he's wrong. His generation, boys like him, have learned from their fathers that as long as there's strength and determination, they shouldn't bow down to anyone. He wanted to tell his father that he didn't raise a weak or feeble son who would resort to begging. Maybe he'll never be able to say it, but every boy dreams of proving his father wrong through his success. And the most important thing he's realized now is that every father wants his child to win. That's their secret. They instill in their children the courage to fight the whole world, even without them. They prepare them to prove them wrong.

That's why he doesn't want to blame them or anyone else for his solitary existence. But one day, he definitely wants to say thank you: thank you, Dad, for making me capable of standing alone in life, for giving me the strength to face it, for teaching me never to give up.

Perhaps, in everyone's life, there are moments that they can never forget, moments where they inadvertently hurt their families. For him, there was an incident he can never forget, an incident that made him cry in front of his father. As he shared with everyone, he wasn't particularly good in academics, as evident from his 10th-grade results.
