"Leah, Olivia, Mia and I were all different. We all came from different backgrounds and had different stories but we were all each other had."
Relationships, friends with benefits, family, sex, cigarettes but most important they had each other.
"Up up!" I flickered the noses of the two smaller blonde versions of me.
Ally groaned fanning me away while Sail pouted at me from her bottom bunk. I crouched down beside her, "What's wrong?"
She shook her head, "I'm tired."
I hummed and picked her up. Her sheets followed. Sail was only five but she looked so much like mom it was scary. Ally was fourteen and looked more like a girl version of dad.
"I'm sorry but you have to get to school."
"I hate school," she pouted and rested her head on my shoulder.
The fourteen years old joined the conversation, "For the first time I agree with Sail."
I rolled my eyes and placed down Sail on the floor, "You two in the bathroom now. I have breakfast already prepared. I'll get started on your lunches."
They groaned but did as I said. I made my way out of their rooms and to the kitchen. From the kitchen I could make out dad's sleeping figure on the pull out couch.
Dad worked a lot just to provide for us. He's barely ever home but when he is it's only to sleep and on Sundays he'd sometimes draw and play dress up with the girls.
He was a good dad to be honest. He did more than mom ever did. Granted she left us all right after Sail was born.
I prepared the girls' lunches and filled up their water bottles before going to check on them. They were both doing as asked and getting ready. I hummed and shared a bit of the breakfast I prepared and brought it over to dad, placing it down on the tv stand.
He slept on the pull out couch because he thought I was too old to be sharing a room with two little girls and I deserved my privacy. I tried fighting him on it but of course he won.
"Ready!" Sail came back well energetic. I looked her up and down to make sure she looked appropriate.

As usual Ally did a good job of getting her ready. Ally then soon after joined us. Sometimes she liked to dress a bit daring so I had to make sure all her parts were covered before she left the house.
Today she shockingly wore more than usual.
